If you click the link I shared. It shows you a list of games via the Google store. No articles to read to clarify anything. If you just visit the store it doesn't say that only 22 games are available. Just provides you a link to a list of games. None of them listing a date of release or anything.
This is a list of the confirmed games for Stadia. Not that they are available now. Cyberpunk 2077, DOOM Eternal, and Watch Dogs Legion aren’t even out yet for any console.
i guess if I'm not a gamer and had no clue. I would assume that those games are available to play today. Like if I were buying this as a gift. Go to the store check out this item. Click here to see a list of games. I would assume that you can play ant of them. They don't say otherwise on the page or website. Unless you have been following it.
i just feel like if you're going to buy something, for yourself or as a gift, we should all do a little homework. There's tons of information out there about Stadia and it's been out there for a long time. They weren't even supposed to launch with 22 games. It was 12, but they added 10 games at the least minute.
Also just looking at that page somebody might think they can play all the games without buying them unless they at least checked to see "what is Stadia and how does it work". I wouldn't buy anything without doing at least minimal research on it, and there's a ton of info out there about Stadia. Just showing a list of games isn't false as long as they have contracted with the developers to make those games available when they are released. But like I said, if you ONLY look at the Stadia game page and don't know anything else, I guess it could possibly be confusing. But to me that's just not doing your homework. That's just buying something because you heard it's popular.
Yeah probably do some research, good advice to try and earn your black kudo belt. So there you go, one tiny little extra wire of black rope woven.
Also you can refund and its good to learn how.
Sometimes we expect something, and it's not there, and yet we keep it, because of other things we like about it.
Sometimes we just refund. Because its not what we expect. Its always nice to be able to refund. Especially for big priced products. Like I bought my pixel2xl, because 4g works great with stadia via wifi hotspot. I wanted to play stadia on 4g on a pixel2xl. Stadia has no 4g support and pixel got no headphone jack. I decide to keep it anyway, because its still allot of fun to play stadia on wifi. On my pixel 2xl. And the screen looks good. And bluetooth earphones are surprisingly convenient to me for all other things. And I can still use headphone jack via a usb converter I got with it.
That's why I love refund policy. We can try something before actually going all in.
Anyway those games are all officially onboard. They're coming for sure. Which is always a good idea. Like, I always try my clothes before buying. And my bicycle. And I also try out the fish I buy. If I don't like it, I just spit it out raw and place it back next to all the fresh raw fish out there. I'm just kidding.
But seriously tho, the world has become such a nice and kind and loving place to be in, we can even try cheese before buying. With all the false advertising out there. They are all yellow, but none of them taste just exactly like the sun. Not quite yet, indeed...
I still don't see your argument. The games listed are all games they have contracted with developers to have on Stadia. Common sense tells you that they're not all available? Anybody who looks at the games and is familiar with gaming at all knows games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom Eternal aren't released yet among others.
Selling games and particularly selling platforms is more than just letting people know what's available today, but also what's coming. But I think they assume that people have at least a general idea of which games aren't even out yet.
I won't say you're wrong, they definitely could separate the games on the list by available now and coming soon or whatever. But I still don't think it's false or misleading. They're just listing everything they have contracted with developers.
