@Brin Me too! If you want games on Stadia the best thing you can do is let the publisher/studio know that there's an interest!
Perhaps go on Twitter and tweet at Square Enix. Stadia would LOVE to have all sorts of options for gamers but in the end companies need to have an interest in doing so first.

Oh, I let them know all the time. ![]()
And I won't stop letting them know.
@Brin Make sure to submit feedback through the Stadia app, as it's the official way to let the Stadia team aware of your suggestions.
I think FFXIV would be a great addition. I might consider resubbing if it's on Stadia.
Yup, second that
Absolutely, I would resub for so long, especially with new story dropping. I mostly play on Stadia nowadays, so it would be nice for sure.
I'm all for this!!! Make stadia my goto system!!! Get me FFXIV!!!!
This is a very interesting one. From a mobile perspective, it totally make sense. Kudos to that ! This would make me move to stadia.
I would love too, great post!
I too would love to see FFXIV on Stadia!
FFXIV on Stadia?
Makes sense as it is perfectly playable with a Controller.
I'm in.
Yes please! I am not into elder scrolls online, would love ffxiv ![]()
Me again and still praying to one day have it on Stadia
Totally agree, gaming PCs so expensive and you need a strong rig to run FFXIV flawless, having it on Stadia would be amazing!
I wonder if this would mean that Stadia would need a separate license in order to play...If it ever happens.
Brin
Trust me do not waste your time asking for games on stadia. At this point it's dead. No one wants to put a game on a platform that has so little people on it. Best thing you can do if you want to play the big games switch to some like shadow pc if the price is ok for you. But as for stadia you will only see indie games coming to it. Just wait in see you be lucky to see two big games come out on it this year.
I agree and disagree.
Disagree that the platform is dead. That's a simple expression without evidence.
I disagree that users will be fortunate to get two big games [though I'm pretty sure you're exaggerating to drive your point]. Stadia has already come out with several top end games recently - Hitman 3, Immortals FR, & Cyberpunk - with releases expected for Outriders, Far Cry 6, most likely any future Ubisoft releases (c'mon R6 Parasite), and hopefully EA & 2K sports releases. They've also released a couple exclusive titles after the demise of their in-house studio.
I do agree that Stadia has missed and will miss some upcoming non-exclusive games - COD Cold War, Back 4 Blood, RE Village, probably 100 indie titles, etc.
I also agree that requests for older game ports seem to fall on deaf ears. As much as existing games coming over would be nice content, they're not worth Google investing money into the developer to bring an old game when they'd be better off investing in rights to a new game.
New games bring new players. New players make developers port old games to Stadia. Old games make existing gamers happy.
Final Fantasy XIV would be a great content addition, and the size of the game should make the developer see the benefit in porting it over.
At least we can all already see how wrong you were.
Keep in mind that the developers recently said that they are focusing on the PS4 addon and will tackle the PS5 version afterwards.
When this work is done, they will risk a look at the XBox as they are interested in expanding FFXIV to a broader userbase.
This might(!) be a good moment for Google to ask for Stadia support but Square's interest is seemingly little.
Yes please, FFxiv to Stadia ![]()
I also would like this, along with Phantasy Star Online 2
HUGE +1 to FFXIV coming to Stadia!
There's a fair point made in the thread about investing in new games but an active MMORPG is as new as its DLC/expansion and both ESO and XIV are at the top of the genre with active players.
At the end of the day I know it's all economics, but fan requests can shift internal perspective and motivate. It's fair to say Google's doing as much of the work to get publishers and developers on its platform as much as the publishers and developers and so I hope at least from Google's side there's progress on this.
Playing XIV on any device (i.e. Chrome OS) would be beyond amazing!
