F1 Multiplayer does not work properly

Jump to Best Response

Players are greyed out (ghosted) after grid start of game. One player then goes solid in colour.

Second player eventually can be controlled. Game seems very buggy.

Ping is good at 2 ms and DL/UP speeds are excellent. Computers are better than min spec.

This issue showed on both computes, one a PC the other a Mac.

What might be worng?

Thanks

Barry

I played a race of 5 online where 2 of it went wrong because of a glitch within the game.
So not sure if is a thing that happens a lot.

If you still have issues you should contact the publisher and report a bug.
It would be handy to save a clip of your problems.
You can do this with the Stadia controller by holding the screenshot button or on your PC by hitting and holding the F12 button. This will save the last 30 seconds of the gameplay in a clip which can be found in your Stadia account/app.

That sounds like setting to stop people crashing into each other, a few racing games have the feature.

I think you are correct @User5060.

@KC2684 you can setup the online races with different game modes.
Realistic or more arcade like.

Try to setup your own unranked game to see what settings are possible so you can filter the games with the modes you want. :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Thanks. I don’t think the problems I saw were related to the game mode.
