F1 2020 stadia controller vibration/ffb bugged/non-functional

Vibration and ffb is completely bugged and non-functional in f1 2020. On stadia controller on chromecast ultra stadia on uhdtv. Makes driving on limits allot harder without a proper functional ffb/vibration.

I think it might be reversed, where when its suppose to be off the controller vibratates constantly and if the tired slide or we push the limits of the vehicle it stops vibration. I think its suppose to be the other way around. It might've been accidentally reversed to lack of proper testing for stadia. However it might also be related to stadia controller or app. No idea.

I left a feedback also in the stadia app.

It seems odd to me as well. The controller vibrates almost constantly and does not seem to provide proper feedback.

same here, i've played using a ps4 controller and then the stadia controller definitely appears to be the wrong way around as the stadia controller is constantly vibrating.

Stadia controller still bugged.

I've tried on desktop pc windows 10 with xbox one controller and surprisingly the vibration seems to function properly. Not sure what is wrong with stadia controller. It vibrates very strangely on this game.

Since the issue is only happening on one game, we suggest getting in touch with our publisher friends

for more assistance.

Stadia support.

Yeah good idea, I've also sent a mail about the bug to their customer service and left a comment on their twitter feeds about it aswell.

Is this solved??

I really want to buy this game, but the lack of wheel support and things like this makes me wait until everything will be fixed...

It's still not solved or fixed

I've got a response from codemasters that they will try and replicate the issue with their testers. And fix it if that is possible. Otherwise offer a workaround.

Not sure if this was resolved, but I bought the game yesterday and it seemed pretty spot on to the feedback you get through a wheel when Karting. Anyway, really good game which I’m enjoying a lot. Thanks Stadia for putting it on offer...£35 isn’t bad!

Yeah it might be intended it might not. Steam f1 2020 pc community members all say that it "clearly" is not intended that way. Not suppose to vibrate on straights. I simply have no way of knowing. I only own the stadia version.

On the stadia controller I had found custom ffb settings, as a workaround for this issue:

1

40

40

40

For modern f1 vehicles.

And for the f2 and classic f1 vehicles the ffb settings:

1

20-40

20-40

20-40

Tune per unique vehicle to personal preference

With these I could get the familiar ffb vehicle limit feel, but again, I don't own the original f1 2020, so I have no idea how codemasters intended the ffb to be.

Seems to make sense to me to have some kind of continuous vibration as in the real world it's not a smooth driving situation. The vehicle is doing over 200 mph and any vibration in the road surface is going to provide immediate feedback. I perform full races and by the end my hands hurt, but that fatigue makes it more realistic for me.

Just my 2 cents.

Totally agree...to me the continuous vibrations are pretty similar to real life Karting, and that would only be massively amplified for these powerful cars.
