Everspace on Stadia failed to launch

Hi Stadia Community,

My Everspace failed to launch. the game stuck at the first black loading screen forever.

I have done the following steps but to no avail.

  • Clear cache from broswer,
  • Tried multiple broswer: chrome, edge, firefox.
  • Tried multiple PC
  • Tried different types of devices: android phone, Stadia on chrome cast, ipad, android tablet.

At this point I am pretty sure this is with the server. Please help.

Hey @Gargit_Wong, quick question, this happen upon a new game or a saved game? just tried with a new game but was not able to reproduce the issue

Hi Hatdroid,

As Everspace the game is stuck at the pre-menu loading screen, it happens to both new/load games.

 

A quick search online shows there is one other guy that has the same problem:

Ok, so you don't even reach the game then? not even the first screen (just the preload one right?) are you able to play any other game?

Yes exactly. I was able to play the game for only once. and since then I couldn't even start the game due to the problem I mentioned.

and no Everspace is the only game having the problem.

Also looking at the post you shared it looks like he solved the issue, it was just a temporary issue, have you tried it today?

One last try, can you try opening another game and then go back to the menu and open Everspace?
