Everyone is well aware now that you say you are releasing codes based on when people ordered however we have ZERO clue when to expect it. I don't know why Google can't give us ANY idea as to when to expect codes.
I am fine waiting, if I had some idea of when I could get it. I can't believe the Stadia team doesn't care at all. If they did they'd push for this. 24 hrs with no info is a joke.
The guidance from the Google support team is currently that codes will be received within 3-5 business days from the shipping date of your bundle.
Yes, I contacted Google this afternoon once my bundle had arrived and there was no activation code. So, yes their current response is 3-5 business days from shipping.
Confirming from a lot of posts I've seen on here and Reddit, 3-5 business days and to contact them again if you still haven't received the code by the end of the week.
@davidking @Mad_Dog_Bravo How do you guys managed to contact support? On the stadia support page/contact us for me it's saying chat is 'unavailble', can't even click it ![]()
@spitfire It might depend on your country etc but for me in the UK it says chat unavailable but wait time for a callback is 1 minute (it's 6.45pm here)
Just to add, there might be hundreds of people trying to contact support at the same time regarding the same issue, so the expected waiting time might not be that accurate, as they might get overwhelmed.
@spitfire : On the UK site chat was available earlier this afternoon, I had a very short wait as I was only 2nd in the queue, but it could be that they flag the service as unavailable once the queue size reaches a certain limit..perhaps? Currently though the UK chat is flagged as unavailable, but as someone else has mentioned, it is country specific and you may have callback as an option in your region too.
@davidking Dude, thanks. We get it. Stop putting that on every post. No one is interested in the canned answers and your dissemination of that information exacerbates the situation. Let the Stadia team answer for themselves... when they get their head out of the sand.
@ChromeDome The fact that everyone starts their own post instead of searching makes me think nobody is seeing it. I know it doesn't actually do anything but at least it's something!
Everyone wants to be heard. That's why everyone is making their own post. People are flooding here looking to get answers... REAL ANSWERS... not regurgitated canned answers.
@ChromeDome I totally get it but that's the only info we have right now. Until we get further info, sharing what the official Stadia support team have said to many users is better than nothing.
It's kind and helpful(ish), but to what end do you need to be that person? I mean, you read more as a shill than a customer who wants answers... I guess if you are a shill, than you're disseminating generic information when you should go AFK and go get us some real answers.
...here's to hoping.
