When I start ESO, I see the "PRESS (A) TO START" splash screen. I press A, and see Game Startup, Play, and (A) Select to the left of an announcements pane. Cool, I press A. It turns into ESO connecting with a spinner, then sends me back to the ESO "PRESS (A) TO START" splash screen. No error, no pop up, no explanation. It does this indefinitely.
Not really sure what to do here. Anyone else encounter this?
Thanks!
I might have heard that this problem occurs when you haven't linked your account yet to Stadia.
Did you link your ESO-Account with Stadia already?

I don't have one - I have Stadia Pro, claimed the game, and hit start. In this day and and I kind of expect everything to just work...
I believe all online bethesda games require you to link to your bethesda account on all devices. https://stadia.google.com/linkaccount try this.
The Stadia team mentioned in their blog post as well that you need an ESO account to be able to play the game:
To play TESO on Stadia, you'll first need to create an Elder Scrolls Online account (if you don't already have one) at https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/ and then link it to Stadia at stadia.com/linkaccount. (Source: This post)
You can link your Stadia account on two ways:
