Hey,
I don’t have a laptop anymore. I tried to get Doom 64 on iPad and it didn’t work. Will that issue be fixed? I don’t want to miss out just because I don’t have a laptop.
Roger
Hi @Roger546201
Apple forbids game streaming apps like Stadia or xCloud on iOS and iPadOS.
If you want to play without a laptop you need a compatible Android phone or a Chromecast Ultra (and the Stadia Controller)
I play it on my TV. But I had to purchase Doom 64 because I can’t enter the code on my iPad.
Yes, you can purchase Doom 64 through the stadia app on your iPad, you just cannot play it on that.
Ensure you are running iOS 11+, and the app should be in the store.
I think everyone is missing the point of the question. To claim your free copy you need to enter the code, and you cannot do this on the iPad app only on PC based webpage (not sure about Android). So the OP only has an iPad so cannot claim the free copy of Doom 64 he was due for getting eternal.
@Roger546201 that really sucks. Sorry to hear that. Not sure there is a good way anyone here can help other than to suggest to contac5 support and try and get a refund...but maybe not worth the time.
Apologies @Matt1 and @Roger546201 I didnt catch that.
I've just checked the Android App, and that wouldnt be feasible either, as an FYI, theres no redeem code entry in any of the settings underneath the Avatar.
I was however, able to get a workaround by following this LINK in a chrome browser on Android, and in the chrome browser settings checking the option for 'request desktop site'
This seemed to allow access to the input code section, though I dont have a code to test to check full functionality.
