Dolby Digital 5.1 support

With the announcement of the Xbox series S and X supporting Dolby Atmos when will Stadia begin support for Dolby Digital Plus and Atmos?  Stadia currently supports PCM but many Stadia Pro users own TVs and/or soundbars that only support Dolby Digital.  We want to play our games with 5.1 surround sound as the developers intended.

Awesome sounds helps definitely to have a more immersive game play expierence. Please ping the Stadia team using the feedback function of your Stadia mobile app to tell them directly.

Just for me: Stadia Pro does support 5.1 sound, but Dolby Digital 5.1 is an "upgrade" on this, isn't it?

Agree, been posting that we need Dolby support since launch. I have submitted multiple feedbacks too.

So... I Twitted at Stadia during their "Good stuff" three day event. That seemed to get their attention.

Long story short, after standard troubleshooting, they told me: "We've checked with our team and we have no news to share when Dolby Digital format will be supported." 

What grinds my gears is why did you make me jump through hoops (troubleshooting) when all you had to do was just say that DD is not supported in the first place?! Don't you know your own product?

Also, fun fact: when streaming Netflix to the same Chromecast Ultra that I play Stadia on, DD is WORKING!!!!! Hence, it is exclusively Stadia problem.
