I do even started going down to 720p even can do 4k fine I feel bad for using so much data and causing problems to network if everyone used 4k willy nilly, also what if your provider thinks you are taking advantage of "unlimited" data and decides you are being unfair on everyone else being so greedy the ISP s could literally pull the plug on this.
Nope
What? No!!!
Our politicians and large corporations want us to use the internet and technological products and deprive us of our freedom.
Then I'll use it.
I must admit I don't feel guilty as well, because I think that providers should be able to give everyone what they are charging them for. So when I get the offer (contract) to pay X for X GB, then I will of course happily use the internet up to that value. ![]()
At the moment though I have anyway the problem that this house where I am living in only provides 40 MB/sec upload speed, so it's enough to play Stadia, but not always am I able to play it in full 4K, especially not when we both are using the internet here.
Might be different as in your case it's possible to pay for "unlimited internet", but even then I believe there is a limit somehow, because even if all your devices are using the internet at maximum, you will only come up to a certain point and I think that's also calculated by your provider.
I pay £26 per month for up to 100mb download and 10 upload maybe that why feel guilty, would honestly prefer to pay some high usage tax so not to feel bad using too much.
@Chufu you think would be possibly my ISP say this guy on unlimited data is using too much and be unfair to others?
I don't think they would do anything about it to be honest, but sure you can try if you like.
