Hi ! There are a lot of Ubisoft games coming to Stadia.
If we already bought some of them from the Uplay shop (like The Division 2), do we need to buy them again in Stadia ?
Thanks
Yes and I will tell you why, these games are not just threw onto Stadia like geforce now, there is development team porting these games and quite frankly they need to be paid for work, think of this like having to purchase a game you got on Xbox for PS4 or Nintendo switch something that is lost on many but made very clear.
Tbh just go with geforce now it's much better in every way, stadia is greedy fck it x)
Greedy ? It works like every other platforms. If you buy a game on X console, you can't play it on another console.
The issue is not greed. But another one that rears its ugly head. The issue i am having with buying games via stadia is that tey are PC titles and last time I checked PC was the only platform left that allows you to install the game on more than one pc at a time you buy the product key plain and simple you own the title the problem I am facing is the price of the titles. It is astronomical. If you want to be successful which i hope that you are don't charge so much for the games. 59.99 buy in and then all the micro transaction that you have to buy to complete the games.
Stadia games are not PC games. They are adapted for another platform (Vulkan).
You can use Stadia on all your devices and use any amount of computers you want, all you have to do is opening Chrome and log in.
They have to charge that much for games, they have employees to pay. It's a business not a charity. 70 bucks for a game isn't really all that steep.
Yes you need to reply them just as if you were going from Sony PlayStation to an Microsoft Xbox you would have to be by every game you already owned.
man, if you already have a game in a PC store you don’t need to buy it on Stadia, buy a game you don’t have, or buy releases from ubisoft!
I have several games on Steam, but I don't buy them on my PS4, the same thing goes for Stadia.
Hi everyone,
It looks like we've been able to come to a conclusion on this conversation. However, it is an older topic, so we are going to go ahead and lock it for now. If anyone else has a related question or comment, please feel free to create a new post.
Thank you,
