Did Anyone Get this Deal? I Purchased a Qualifying Game But Never Got the Email for the Free Stadia

"Get Stadia Premiere Edition free with a qualifying game purchase"

It also says you will get an email for the free Stadia by today and I did not get one. Anyone get this?

The promotion is for the US only and you should receive your code within another 8 hours. By 11:59PM Pacific Time.

Thanks for stopping by the Stadia Community Forum. Can you please confirm the following details so that we can get a better understanding of your situation? 

  1. I know you may have already confirmed this, but can you confirm that you checked the email inbox of the account you're using to login to Stadia? 
  2. Can you confirm that you've already checked the spam folder for an email titled "Your Stadia Premiere Edition with recent game purchase - redeem by Dec 11, 2021"
  3. Can you confirm that you're located in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, and U.S.

Here are my answers:

1. I can confirm that I checked the email that I use to login to Stadia. It is a Gmail account.

 

2. I can confirm that I have checked my spam folder. It was not in there either.

 

3. I am located in the U.S.

Thanks for following up, @ChrisFromGoogle. I actually already filled out this form. I contacted Stadia Support via Twitter earlier today and they had me fill it out. My case number is 33700884

Hi @ChrisFromGoogle,

Do you happen to have any update on this? According to the promotion details, the free Stadia premiere codes must be redeemed by December 11, 2021 11:59 pm PT so I just wanted to make sure that all of us would receive our codes before that time.

Hey there @MajorZeroCipher , thanks for following up. I'm having trouble locating your case in our system. Would you mind confirming the case number? I kindly suggest copying the entire ID including the "Case ID" bit.  I understand that this has been a frustrating process, so I really appreciate your patience here.

Would you mind filling out the form one more time for us? You can leave serial number, social handle, and mailing address blank. In the description, can you include the unique hashtag #ST3Code? Providing that unique identifier may help with tracking down your individual case. Thank you!

@ChrisFromGoogle I was able to track down the case ID for my existing case. Here it is:

4-9159000031887

Do I still need to fill out the form again? That seems redundant since I found the Case ID.

I'm still in the same boat as @MajorZeroCipher as well. I resubmitted the form along with the #ST3Code hashtag and messaged support on Twitter again. Here's my Case ID Number 33716664. My first message through the form did not have the ID number yet so hopefully this time it can be located.

Just following up for anyone following this thread. I received the promotion code today, 12/7/21, and the Premiere Edition is on it's way. Thanks @ChrisFromGoogle and the rest of the Stadia support team for your help.

Hi Chris, I also had this issue.

I bought a game on Nov 20, but did not receive a redemption code. I use the same google account to log into stadia as my primary email, there is no redemption code in my spam folder, and I am based in the US.

Hi, same as the previous posters here, I haven't received an email either. Made my qualifying purchase on Nov 25, checking correct email, spam folder and I live in the us. I filled out the form but haven't got a case ID yet. Thank you

Hey Chris. I'm in the same boat. I have a receipt showing my purchase as well. Just completed the form. I read another support post saying it could take up to 2 weeks to get an email about the promotion so I waited longer, but still nothing.

Wondering if anyone got this resolved yet? 

I also purchased a qualifying game, during the correct dates, with the correct email address, in the US, checked my spam folder and never received the promo code. I filled out the form and have a Case ID of 5-4084000031791 but still no word.

Wanted to make sure to post here that I just got my redemption code today. Ordered game on Nov 19th. Filled out the service request on Dec 3rd. Received redemption code Dec. 7th :thumbs_up:
