I have very low audio in Control and Mafia 3... And subtitles are in wrong location, not sync with audio. Very strange. Never had this before...
Hi @sulphurtx,
I am also having issues so I asked around a bit and it seems to be a wider issue.
For now you can force stereo sound to make the sound better.
Within the Stadia app on Google TV can you force Stereo, not sure for Chromecast Ultra though. ![]()
Hello @sulphurtx
I don't know about the subtitles issue, but I'm seeing some reports that 5.1 channel surround sound may have been defaulted to "on" recently. In a stereo system, that may result in only the left and right channels coming through without the center channel (which is where most of the sound comes from – especially dialog). Here's a succinct Reddit post that describes the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/Stadia/comments/q143oo/having_sound_issues_read_this_before_posting/?utm_so...
So, give that a try and see if it helps resolve the audio problem at least.

I haven't resolved this problem yet... I will try RXShorty's solution this evening. Really strange. Especially in Control where the subtitles are displaying randomly through the game... Almost unplayable.
