Hey @KUFNUKEM,
to figure out if this is a browser issue, you could try those steps first:
If nothing helps, I would try to reach out to the developers of Destiny 2 to make them aware of the issue, because as it seems that it could be a game-problem, Stadia couldn't even help you with that one.
Hello,
how do you think could this be browser related? These are ingame settings of the game. I think i mentioned this in my post. Is there is any local browser relation to the actual game in the Stadia cloud i don't know? If so please tell me because this would be helpful for the troubleshooting. If not please do not post such generic answers because they are not helpful at all. Thank you
Maybe I misread your post, but it looked like you actually mentioned Chrome extensions, so I suggested to try some browser issues. Sorry if this wasn't helpful at all, it's at least worth a try if you play on Chrome (this was at least what I understood, but well... humans can make mistakes).
If these are ingame-settings, I would recommend you to contact the developer or contact Stadia support to figure out if this is actually a game-problem or a problem with the Stadia controller.
As long as nobody else is having that problem, I think it's very specific. I saw you have posted as well in the Bungie-forum, so I guess if that problem affects multiple people, it would get more attention.
@BinaryJay Yes, I have the same issue. Basically, the key bindings get reset to default every time you start the game up. In other words, settings don't save between sessions. If you use keyboard and mouse, most people set up their own custom key bindings so this is really annoying. Made me give up trying with keyboard and mouse because I don't want to spend 5 minutes every time I log on to set it up.
This happens to me (and my son) every time we play in Stadia. Having to remap 10-15 keys every time is a pain.
Don't know if this problem was every resolved or not, but it's definitely a stadia issue, I'm getting the same problem in The Division 2 right now.
Me too! ![]()
Almost a year this has been happening, on new games as well (Baldur's Gate 3) has there been a single response?
Having the same issue with Boulders Gate 3
It is concerning to see other having the same issue for a year with no resolution.
I’m really on the fence I’ve had stadia for a year and am really about to cancel.
I have a current 2020 iMac Pro and not not play games in 4K just learned this very disappointing.
All the disappointments are adding up and am about to leave..
I can confirm Baulder's Gate 3 has this problem. Any sight on a fix or keybinding save support?
Push +1: same issue here...
I have the same issue except on Everspace (PC or Chromecast). I started a thread you might find interesting: https://community.stadia.com/t5/Stadia-on-Chromecast/Keybind-Loss-Desynchronization/td-p/44154
I can't use the controller to modify the keybinds, so I have to session skip from my PC where I use MKB to change the controller keybinds 🤦![]()
Having the exact issue. Has no one from Google said anything?
I have noticed this problem since the beginning and accepted the bug. However now that cross-play is released I am playing Destiny more on Stadia than ever before. It would be extremely helpful if this could be addressed.
Hi there, i thought i was the only one with this issue but nope, seems like from the beginning.
As it is 2022 by now and the problem is still there (not to mention the framedrops between mouse and controller usage) i guess i have to ask if someone did solve this problem? In example with a batch file or something?
This is atrocious......Still a thing in division 2 after all this time
