Right so i have a problem.... Im a long time Destiny 2 player.
Thats not the problem shhh...
I have a Season pass on my PC, my bungie account is linked to my stadia and steam accounts but when i go to play any current content in Destiny 2 on my stadia account i get a window telling me i need to fork out another £42 for the season pass....Which i already have.
Is this by design? if so wat du heck i want to play my game.
Hi @reedrainer
Unfortunately, this is by design by Bungie. You can cross-save to carry your progression between multiple platforms, but you'll need to buy again the DLC / Season Pass for each platform.
@reedrainer seasons are actually shared between platforms, but the expansions are not.
So you will have to pay separately for Beyond Light, Forsaken and Shadowkeep for each platform, but your season progress is attached to your account so platform doesn't matter.
Can you confirm what you were trying to do when you get the message? Which activity were you trying to do? I'm thinking it was asking you to buy the expansion and not the season pass.
Edit: so it seems there are certain limitations with season passes on Stadia according to this article:
https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave
Do my previous game purchases transfer across platforms?
Destiny 2 expansions (ex: Forsaken, Shadowkeep) do not transfer between platforms with Cross Save. Destiny 2 Season Passes (ex: Season of the Undying) do move between platforms on the characters they were redeemed on.*
*Exception: Destiny 2: The Collection on Stadia includes Season Pass access at no additional charge. Players who have Cross Save enabled with their Stadia account who would like to access Seasonal content on other platforms (PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam) will need to purchase those Season Passes directly on one of those platforms.
But if my understanding is correct, you're referring to the latest season passes right (not the one included in the collection)? And you bought the passes on PC? If yes than it should not be an issue.

Just done a bit of looking up and apparently it works on all other platforms bar Stadia..
This is so annoying, I can play on steam link on my TV obviously but id like to fill my 2.5 hour train commute with some Destiny. Ah well, maybe in the future.
