@Livewireuk Many of the Stadia players are doing patrols or still working through the story line. Not sure how accurate these stats are, but you can take a look at the URL below.

Thank you for the reply.
Well if it is accurate it makes a lot of sense! Recent activity.. stadia 0% ![]()
@Livewireuk Yeah, the highest I have seen so far is 1%
Destiny 2 has so much content it's gonna be hard to find people doing things other than strikes and maybe one pvp mode, if it was at base with less activities would work way better considering Stadia just starting out with little numbers vs established rivals but could you imagine outroar if we were a couple years behind console?
What I'm saying is it's totally expected by me and no surprise.
@LivewireukStadia is still in Beta for me and I believe it is just starting. It's gonna take time and improvement for gamers to start switching from hardware to the cloud service. Same appenned with the music cloud service and now most of us have sub to Spotify or equivalent.
Now the buzz and novelty have died down and that Stadia gamers own multiples games the active populations is spreaded. I am not playing Destiny anymore I am playing 2k20 and Borderlands 3.
I am not saying that all is pink and bright on the Stadia front however there is still so much more to be done and that it take time for new ideas and technology to become mainstream and accepted.
Certain modes and times are better than others, population is indeed low.. Gamers don't abandon their habits overnite, they have invested time and money and area already involved on other platforms, they are used to and have friends lists, while those in Stadia, are founders, pioneers of the new breed of gamer, the legit gamer... Another reason these kids won't be flocking over here to PvP.. they can't cheat here!
Like others have said here, I feel like Stadia is still in a Beta mode. There just aren't enough users on the platform to support big games like Destiny 2 yet, and I think (I hope) that will change when it opens up to everyone and people don't have to buy hardware to open an account. I also think that was one of the reasons for the 2nd buddy pass they gave out. They realized and they were trying to get more users on to the platform.
I feel like they made a mistake offering Destiny 2 as the initial game. Obviously multi-player games are popular, but the platform doesn't have the users to support it yet. I think they should have offered AC Odyssey as the initial game, and then when they do the full launch, offer Destiny 2, or even some newer multiplayer to draw in a bigger audience at the full launch. But they probably wouldn't even need a newer multiplayer, because Destiny 2 is still adding content fairly regularly, so it doesn't "feel" old.
Either way, I think when Stadia fully launches and is available to everyone, Destiny and other multiplayer games will definitely be better on Stadia than it is right now.
@XeviosoI disagree, Destiny 2 is actually a great pick for Stadia. It combines : it is under the radar, too many people missed it, it is actually great, it is still supported, it is a game with near unlimited playtime, it can be played both solo and multi The population will only grow on this game, at the same scale as the Stadia population grows. I'm currently not playing it because I also want to complete other games such as tomb raiders , borderlands and darksiders genesis before more games are released, but Destiny 2 is definitely a game I see myself playing again quite often when everything else is done and i have some time. I am confident that the choice to offer it permanently ensure that the game will be played for a while on Stadia.
@Nilas - Don't misunderstand me. Destiny 2 is a great game. But most of the people I know at least who play it don't play solo, and it has a lot of content that simply not fit for solo play. So all I'm saying is knowing that the user base on Stadia would be low initially, it's not a good fit... which is why we do see a lot of complaints about not being able to find teams for activities.
So I'm not saying it's a bad game at all. I love it, and I actually prefer to play solo. But it's not a great game for a platform that doesn't have the user base to support it (yet). So I'm just saying it might have been a better game to give out when they launch fully to the public where lots of people can then jump on thePro platform for $9.99 without having to buy hardware. I think we'll see a huge jump in user base when that happens, and Destiny would be perfect at that time.
But yes, it's a great game, and I love having it. I just think until the platform grows, there will be lots of complaints due to the low user base of Stadia right now.
The issue is the stadia popularity, not the game.
We are many to have expected Stadia to be a huge success right on launch. But that was unless Google does everything they could to fail.
Anyways as I said, the population will grow and Destiny 2 as well.
Google is handling Stadia just fine, they are not a publisher, they don't have their backbone established as they desire and they have lots of dumb **bleep** to do to make everything work and it's far better than I expected where we are...
Their support has been top notch, and they are going above and beyond trying to help those with issues, even when they are not really issues, just making sure all the crap and support system gets in order.
I see a lot of. Players running around questing but impossible to get full party for strikes. Gagging to try raids and never ever find 6 even wheneaving it for hours searching
Raids have always been an LFG thing, you need to make an effort to find the other 5 and let them know you're new as well or you will be kicked pretty quick because if bluffing you get found out you have no grasp on mechanics very early in.
