Destiny 2 on discount

I'll rarely complain but this choice is atrocious!

We are subs so we have the full collection already!

And people unsubbed can't see the discount.

Basically no one cares about this discount unless the few people who will unsub next month but still want to play Destiny 2 on Stadia.

In the mean time the people who want to remain pro user have no valuable discount.

Can we have something valuable please ? FM2020 and AOT2 have never been on sale. A ton of people are waiting for a new discount on AC:O as well.

Yeah bit of a dumb discount, this would be suited to non subs and of course no discounts without sub so....

Or maybe they plan to do discounts to non subs or even owners of the founders and premier edition?

The latter actually should be the case tbh after investing in the hardware plus don't need to sub to cdkeys to pick up say HALO MCC for £3 (yip I did), I am dropping my sub next month and not sure what will find "worth it" without discounts.

Anyways I feel it lame that people subscribed have no current deal except this useless one.

I sincerly have to disagree here. They need to build the infrastructure aka. Playerbase around destiny. If i were in charge at google, I would as go as far as to make destiny 2 a complete free to play game even for non pro members. But of course without the dlc's, just the main game. People already payed for the additional hardware in form of the chromecast and controller and and it would also be good stress test for stadias server infrastructure before official release of stadia. I don't wanna see any qeueuing times or performance stutters  when base finally arrives.

And for the pro thing. I mean, you can cancel pro at any time. Even one day before the next money charge. The deals are cycling through any month mostly at the end of each month "my experience". So you can cancel pro and reactive it whenever it fits you.

I might be bias because I love Destiny 2 as a game, but I completely agree with @ChronosP on this. Take a look at some of the data of D2's population on Stadia vs Xbox as of a few minutes ago.

 

Now, I am not trying to compare a platform established for years, versus a new one. But a month ago, Destiny 2's population on Stadia was about 10000. As things stand, it is extremely difficult to complete some matchmaking activities.

And if it keeps taking more and more time to complete stuff, that number is only going to drop.

Yeah, but the deals change on a reasonably frequent basis, so what if it means waiting a little longer to see if there are any more suitable deals on offer.  I'm not frustrated by this deal, just gonna wait to see if a new deal comes along that I'm more interested in.

I'm DYING for a discount on AC ODYSSEY! They only had one sale on it and that was at launch! I mean really, I wish they'd make it a pro game since the next assassin's Creed is going to be released soon. But if they're not going to make it pro then put a sale on it! 

I wonder if they're waiting for the pre-release of the next one so they can bundle them in some kind of pre-order sale? It's weird that it hasn't gone back on sale since the first week.

Wow @Streamer I knew it was low but 3000 low, that's pretty shocking, I took my last go of destiny Stadia yesterday after waiting in enough queues to say enough is enough, gave it every chance but there's no way I'm doing strikes and patrol 24/7.

It's a real shame because it plays way better than consoles but without players what's the point, it'll be division for me just for the fact of a bigger pool of players OR destiny if something changes before the 17th which I doubt.

As expected. The more games will hit stadia the more these player numbers will decrease on destiny.

The playernumbers will always be the big elephant who stands in the room, which googles trying to ignore.

As i already wrote: Google should make the base version a FREE TO PLAY game and force future stadia titles from devs to be crossplayable, until stadia has that playerbase at some point. Also for gods sake, share some infos about the base version from stadia soon. This time with good advertising and great offers! And not like last time with that dude flying through that screen! (Facepalm) I mean what was that? Scare people more away than to attract anyone. The tech benind stadia and how convinient everything works is way to valuable to lose and a great selling point too. And that could all be ruined just because of googles inferior marketing!
