Destiny 2- Stadia controller issues

Wondering if anyone else was having this issue. I was playing destiny 2 when my controller would stop reading what I was doing. Most common was weapon draw, and walking forward. It would start for a second and stop or when I was using a sparrow it would just stop moving and when I press down L2 again it would work for a second and stop. I also noticed it when I was playing Tomb Raider, it wasn’t as noticeable as Destiny but it was still happening. Besides that I really didn’t have a issue like this till now. @GraceFromGoogle

I haven't ever had this happen and have played an hour or two at least of Destiny on Stadia since launch (trying to get used to playing this game with a controller......)

Sounds like your controller has a poor wifi connection, or you have a lot of interference.  I'd try changing the channel your access point is using to one that isn't overlapping with other networks.  Use any of the hundreds of wifi analyzer apps out there to determine this.

Edit: Hour or two per day. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for advise, I played 4 hours today and didn’t have the issue. Might have been interference on my end. Was just a strange issue. I used to get really bad right stick drift where the cursor would go past where I stopped.

I have actually had an issue similar to this, although it might not be the same thing. Sometimes when trying to fire in destiny (R2 button) my character will stop firing even though I am holding the button, I then have to let go and repress the button. I haven't noticed it on other games and haven't tested to see if it only happens on one of my controllers.
