Destiny 2 Error code Olive

Jump to Best Response

Hello! Stadia has been working incredibly well for me so far.

I've logged hours into both Destiny2 and Tomb Raider. I sent my buddy pass to a friend of mine tonight. He connected his Bungie account to his new stadia account and it worked flawlessly on his end. For some reason, though, whenever we were in a game session together I would get booted out with an error message with error code Olive. The Bungie website had outdated posts on the issue: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11872

Any help would be most appreciated!

Nick

Hi Elysian,

I was able to find a solution!  I had not yet set up a bungie account and connected it.  Once I did, the issue ceased.

In short: If one player has connected their Bungie account, everyone who wishes to play with them must do the same.

It's not a complete solution, since clearly there are issues with compatibility between players with Bungie accounts and those without, but at least it's a workaround that can get you playing with your buddies.

Hope that helps!
