Cyberpunk 2077 not coming on day one on stadia

If true then, new ammunition for stadia haters and... Can not blame em... Google needs to start to be serious... How can stadia get new user when even future releases won't come day one... The Mafia thing was a shame (but on a positive side, the PS4 and Xbox one version are crap)

It is a bit disappointing to say the least. Cyberpunk being such a hyped title. I think in due time, Stadia will be a little more transparent as to their business outlook. I'm sure there's a good reason for the delay.

Yes disapponting yes it maybe the biggest game this year on all the game system  most stadia  gamer also own at least one more game system at home  they can easily purchase the game on day1!! It was same with doom eternal? i think if only a couple weeks delay  it not such problem now  but fear f1 2020 will be release later also but think 2 things google has hire get new PR beureu for stadia  promotion of games google has toand explain that not so easy to port games that already  released  on other game system it need complete new coding

Except Cyberpunk 2077 is not released on any system.

Stadia has a big advantage which is convenient but also a big disadvantage which is the team behind it...

Google has more money than Sony, Microsoft and nintendo by far and they are the one doing the worst job by far, they can push CDPR to release their games on day one, I mean they are all praising that google cloud dev kit let them develop the game at home and yet they release it on the platform the last...? 

Today I got my first pro fee and it felt strange, watching the fee on my credit card statement, I was wondering if I keep it or not... Sure I have the games I bought but the pro games I barely play them and at the moment there are no pro deal... I decided to keep it for now but if me a true believer start questioning Stadia, then other less invested will do it further.

Google needs to realize that they are not Sony which thanks to its experiences in the game industry can keep quite and still have fans exited, google needs to do what Microsoft is doing but 10 times more because they have no brand loyalty at the moment but they are acting like Sony... 

Sony pressured Nvidia to say that the PS5 is powerful... 

Google has to step up or it will take a lot longer than expected for Stadia to be a big player especially since Steam entered cloud gaming

The first time cyberpunk 2077 was delayed, word is it was because the Xbox one could not run the game properly so they just delayed the whole thing... But when for Stadia, they just go ahead and let Stadia later...

I wanted to play it also on Day One, so now I might need to get it on PC/Steam then instead of Stadia...mhhh but let's see, I'll wait until it's closer.

And than they will be the next consol Generation out, and the quality on stadia will be the same as on xbox one and ps4

@Schauschau We do not know that... Maybe they will release it on Stadia gen 2 so they are optimizing to better take advantage of the perfs

The question is: why can stadia not Start next gen earlier?

Google is Not pay anything or Sony /Microsoft pay more?

It would be the greatest Argument to try stadia before next gen console, when the Performance would be better than on other Systems. 

Perhaps Google want to Go in direct confrontation

@Schauschau good point, it is not like they have to manufacture millions of consoles, they just replace their blades... The can start rolling out blades gen 2. Maybe they are waiting for the summer of gaming. 

What got me into stadia was the fact that I do not have to buy a console anymore, the 7 year old PS4 is still more expensive than 2 premium stadia edition...

I can easily wait and be patient if Google communicate more... But they barely communicate. I played a tray traced game on GeForce now, but still believe stadia is better.... Communicate, start bringing the big gun...

I don't mind the wait to be honest, With such a huge backlog of games currently it will give me an excuse to try finish them before the game releases here.

It definitely doesn't look good...but then again haters will use any reason to crap on Stadia. If the delay means a superb quality game then understandable. Then again covid really has affected many things and while covid may or may not have directly impacted this I believe it nonetheless did.

This is a massive blow for Stadia. The new generation of consoles are coming very soon and with the news that you will not get Cyberpunk day 1 on Stadia means it will sway A LOT of players. It's a real shame as this could be an amazing platform for gaming, I love it and being a PS4 owner and PC this is my goto. I wanted to stay with Stadia because of the fact that they seemed to sort themselves out by getting Cyberpunk day 1 (arguably will be the biggest game of the year). Now I am genuinely thinking PS5.

I will start a new thread about the lack of sales and if Stadia and Google even care about keeping new players and gaining a solid player base!
