Hello guys, so after watching the last night city wire ( https://youtu.be/4yQ--nrwy5w ) I’m very afraid about the stadia performance, as you can see the gameplay run on the next gen console but with an old gen version of the game, well cp77 doesn’t look like the massive open world we waited for, I mean the city looks empty, is more similar an a deus ex game, if you watch the pc version is completely another story, and I’m wondering how stadia will manage this? We saw the bad performance on AC Valhalla and ofc CP will be more “heavy”, for the first time in my life I will not buy the game that I waited for years at the day one, I really want to see how can run on stadia, and ofc if I have to play the worst version of the game I will move somewhere also.
is not a post against Stadia, just want to know your thoughts.
It's honestly up to the developer.
Stadia runs Division and Destiny to perfection and Borderlands 3 terribly unplayable.
Obviously the graphic quality has improved since launch.
Maybe Stadia is not yet at the level of PS5 or XBoXSX, but if the developer decides to port the Series S version, then we will have GARBAGE.
Thank Microsoft for destroying the generation.
Thanks for your reply, do you will buy the game anyway on stadia?
@Orwell My plan is to wait a full day and see what others are saying in terms of the quality of the game on Stadia. You'll see pretty fast whether or not people are happy or upset with it and then I'll make my decision off of that.
If it's not getting great reactions I'll probably just wait for the first sale it gets. Since online multiplayer isn't being introduced until a few years down the road I don't feel too rushed to get it super early.
@Deleted User yes sure, you are right, but is not our (gamers ) biggest problem? Especially if we waited something for a long time, we want it, immediately because we deserve it!
So I'm asking myself if I will wait and no I don't because "I want it now!".
Anyway your way of thinking it can work everywhere, I don't have the money tu buy the last graphic card to play CP77, well I wait 6 months and I will find a version that will fit my pocket..
I think that a lot of people is on stadia because they want everything immediately, but maybe I'm wrong and is just my way of thinking.
@Orwell I understand that you want it as soon as possible, a 2 hour return window does exist if you absolutely can't wait a day to play it.
Test it out for an hour and if you like how it performs, keep playing, if not, return it for a full refund.
@Deleted User maybe you didn't get my point or maybe I can't talk a very good english to explain myself in the proper way, I don't know, doesn't matter. Hope other people will write their thougts.
Im sad to say that its going to be 30 FPS for 4K (probably 1440p even).
Look at how the new Xbox is handling the game, its close to 60 fps, but u can see its pushing the console to its limit when driving through high density areas as in the video.
I hope the next gen stadia blade hardware rumors are true, then 2021 will be interesting ![]()
At the end it is yours to play or dont play on stadia.
If u play lot of different games, u will be cheaper with the other Plattforms over time 🤷
(up to 60 € / game and earlier sells) . So u can invest the save money in Plattform Upgrades.
If u wait for Hardware Upgrades or only Informations, u have to wait a long time..
Cp2077 is a save PC buy for me. Dont trust stadia to handle it good.
Im a hope less case and Support stadia with the hope that changes comming
. And i like the Controller and the ubisoft ports ![]()
But have a highend System and xbox series x and ps5 at home.
So i dont care anymore for stadia Performance the next two years.
It has been confirmed by CDPR that the stadia version of the game is closer to a PC build. It's why they were able to release CP2077 day and date on stadia because of how similar the builds are. Both versions are ready for release. Based off of that, I believe that we're getting a version that is much closer to PC than console.
Yes, I will buy it on Stadia.
I do not want to buy a new generation console at this time, they have many production problems and I am sure that throughout the generation we will have an update to Stadia that will surpass the consoles.
Also at this time updating my 2080 to a 30 series would also imply a PCIe 4.0 motherboard I've been looking at Valhalla performance on PC and areas like rivers run between 32 and 38 fps.
I've also seen the latest CP77 gameplay and I'm fine with the version that will have Stadia even 30 fps.
Normally Stadia works well, only Borderlands does not work and its sale should really be prohibited.
As long as it's stutter-free I don't care about 30 or 300 fps.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a major factor in me signing up for stadia at the start. Being an old fart brought up on cyberpunk novels I feel like I've been waiting for it since before most of its developers were born,
I do hope it's all that had been promised and that the Stadia version is "full fat". I'll probably buy it either way but early reaction to it will decide if I do that straight away or hang back until the price drops
The game is still going to break after so many delays.
In the video you can see the fps drop.
Avengers was delayed and destroyed and now it works fine.
Watch Dogs and Valhalla don't work well at all.
FF7Re was delayed and works perfectly.
Games like Overwatch, GTAV or Destiny or FFXIV are perfect.
Then there are games that are never fixed even after 10 years.
If it works badly in STADIA it will work badly in the rest of the platforms, so you make be sure how to work the game in other platforms.
Since games were digitalized, it is customary to release unfinished products.
Games like Marvel Avengers, Anthem, Fallout 76, Mass Effect Andromeda, Atlas ... by the time they are fixed they have already lost the interest of the customer because they played it getting a bad user experience and they will not play it again after all that suffering.
Games as a service like MMORPGS, BR, CO-OP RTS or LOOTERS can still keep players coming in.
Single player games cannot.
@Whito “If it works badly in STADIA it will work badly in the rest of the platforms, so you make be sure how to work the game in other platforms.”
Are you sure about it? What about BL3 ? Ac Walhalla? Just asking because people saying that they are crap on stadia, and not on other platforms.

We will see tonight how it performs but I can already say that it won't be great but it might be good enough. We're likely looking at 1080p@60fps on medium settings. Possibly 30fps even at 1080p and maybe medium/high settings. Obviously no ray tracing and forget 4k because it's gonna be upscaled hard. We're seeing gtx 3080's choke on this game. If gen2 was ever really going to be a thing, it would be smart to launch it sooner than later. This title will determine a lot for stadia. My friend actually bought an Xseries just for this game which is insane but shows what people will do for solid performance.
