Tutorial part where the missing information cannot be found:
GAINING ENTRY: UNLOCK THE DOOR
By default, the door of the Bank Vault is locked. Before we Preview the game we need to unlock the door and then link the keypad to the door to be able to open it.
Start by looking at the door, and open the Entity Editor by pressing X. If you navigate to the bottom of the Entity Editor you can find the Script: LockedDoor Properties.
Aha here is the first problem. You can see that the “locked” Property is checked, which means the door is currently locked. Uncheck the locked checkbox.
Preview the game by holding the DOWN D-PAD.
Interact with the keypad next to the door by looking at it and pressing X. The door should swing open. No it should not, unless I have linked the cardreader to the vaultdoor?
___
As you can see, there is no information regarding how to link the keypad cardreader to the door. When I preview the game, (which is indicated by out of date keybindings; down dpad, should be hold start) I can press X or interact on the cardreader all I want, nothing will happen. There is also no interactability with the cardreader.
Solution, not included in the tutorial:
_______
Edit cardreader, by pressing X on it.
Add "onInteract" by sellecting the "+" next to "onInteract" and pressing the A button:
Entity = BankVault-VaultDoor (terrain > bankVault1 > BankVault-VaultDoor)
Script = LockedDoor
Event = OpenDoor (select the arrow down icon next to the Event by pressing right on the d-pad to select the white arrow down icon, and press A to reveal event options, and select OpenDoor.
_____
This worked for me and is the only solution I found for what was missing in the tutorial.
