Hi,
New game and new problem, when i try to load my save of Journey to the Savage Planet,the game just hang on, the music goes on but nothing else. I can't get trough the menu ( i tried different browser).
The game was working this afternoon and this evening not anymore....
If someone have a clue ^^

Hi everyone, please note that the patch that went live earlier today contains the following:
Addresses the issue causing save game corruption which were crashing the game when loading them at the main menu
The ability to detect corrupted saves in the main menu without crashing. If the player does have a corrupted save, it will now show as "corrupted" in the menu. By deleting the corrupted save, your game will look for other saves that can be loaded to recover some progress.
Fix to prevent co-op disconnects when suspending or switching devices

do you have this problem also on other devices for example in the Stadia app on a mobile phone or on the TV with Chromecast? Or is this issue only present in the browser?
Ok so i try just now on my phone and on CCU, and i've got the same issue....
Okay in that case it looks like a game issue, so I would recommend you to contact the Stadia support to see if they are aware of the issue and if they maybe have any troubleshooting for you. You could also contact the developers to let them know about the issue with their game on this platform.
Yesterday the game works once without problems, then I had the same problem.
@Ryo_S @Chufu I'm having the exact same issue. I was able to play yesterday for a while just fine, but ever since it won't let me get past the main menu. It just hangs with the music playing.
After it hangs if you exit the game and try to restart it, you get an error that says "Failed to start the game session." I have to restart my Chromecast for it to get back to the menu, but then it just hangs again.
Every other game works fine, it's only Journey to the Savage planet.

Same. The game gets stuck on the main menu after I press single player or coop. So sad.
I got the same issue today when trying to load the game I started yesterday. Click on single player and it just hangs.
I've seen people mention Google telling them to talk to the Devs, which I would usually say makes total sense. But the problem is Typhoon studios don't exist any more as far as I can tell, they became part of SG&E. The game listing also says the Devs are SG&E. So Google are the Devs.
I know SG&E is winding down, but they have only just released this and are still planning to release games which were slated to come out soon, so they must be around somewhere for us to report this too.
Fortunately, I didn't pay for that game, but it’s a shame for who bought it. Our money isn’t different
Well, we did not pay for this game, but we pay for a service every month, so one would expect it to work smoothly or at least for the problems to be addressed somehow.
I was supposing that this game is bugged on other platforms too...but you're right anyway.
I just got done talking to Stadia support for the second time since I had the issue and let the agent know that others are having the same trouble with no reliable way to contact the developer. After checking with his supervisors he came back saying that this is a known issue and is being worked on. I also let him know that it would be great if there was any kind of acknowledgement of this being an issue and being worked on, but I'm not confident we would get that kind of communication. Take him at his word or not, but I was at least able to get an answer other than "Contact the developer".
You sir, are a legend. Thank you fighting through support to get an answer. At least it gives us hope they may potentially patch it soon.
Same issue, started playing a game a few days ago, played for an hour or so (was enjoying it too!). Tried to log in this weekend for some pandemic fueled gaming and the game just freezes when I select single player. Tried on my chromecast/chromebook/windows pc. Same thing on everyone.

I contacted Typhoon (silence), then contacted Google, who told me to speak to 505, who told me they don't support the Stadia version of the game. This hasn't been a fun experience, especially as I subbed to Pro only for this game, this month.
Makes me worried about this happening again in the future - cos I can't solve the issue for myself, as it's a cloud platform.
Started playing this yesterday.. launched it several times without a problem.. today I can’t get past the first menu. Sad to see others have been having this issue for days.. was looking forward to finishing this on the weekend. ![]()
Also having the same issue. It is one of the few games on Pro that I actually want to play. Really wish this would be fixed.

Hoping for a fix, but maybe it will not be too long because the bigger the issue is and the the number of impacted people, the quicker the fix will be made ^^
@Ryo_S I just got this slightly different reply from 505 Games support, we'll see if it ever gets fixed:

I was talking with google support consultant and he said he would check the problem and troubleshoot it. Now waiting for e-mail from Google Support
I contacted devellopers by mail and had a chat with Stadia operator, no solution at the moment but if i find a solution, i'll post it here maybe it will help someone ^^

Same. I was told they were working on it... not so sure if pro account is worth it... when finally a half decent game that is not 8 or 16 bit comes out it crashes...
Seriously, was considering it with my free trial, but the fact that this isn't getting touched, or at least has been an issue for so long, has pretty much convinced me that it's not worth it right now. Can't even play the game at all and this is "solved"???
