@MORESOR :
It's only a free weekend not the full game given for free. Stadia hasn't implemented free weekend capabilities yet, maybe that is something for the future.
I'm not going to get into a discussion on pricing, lots of topics on that subject already imho.
There are so many, many, many things that Stadia has not implemented yet. Even things that were promised during the launch.
That's called BREACH OF CONTRACT and it is legally punished. Why we (users/customers) don't do something about it.
@MORESOR :
While I agree that Stadia is far from a finished product, I’d be interested in understanding what actual breaches of contract there currently are, and also under which contract.
I’m not saying you are wrong, but imho most cases of “supposed breach of terms/contracts etc.”, just turn into gripes about pricing and game availability for the most part, and very little about actual contracts and terms of service.
Of course if you do have an actual contractual obligation that is being breached then perhaps reach out to your citizens advice bureau to see what actions they believe are possible, although have consideration for those facilities during the pandemic as I’m quite sure that they have many other things in their workload to manage.
What were the many features and which contract was the breach in regards to?
We must thank that they still give service. Being that they have to be working telematically from their homes.
They also give good discounts. If they already had a hasty and poor launch, the pandemic only makes the situation worse, so thank them for even adding games.
I am very critical but because for me Phil Harrison had to go out and face his users with a Stadia connect just being honest.
That is what users expect. The more time he spend hiding without being brave and taking the consequences by knocking on the table and GIVING FACE the more hate and ridicule they will receive.
A few discounts or a PRO game will neither sell the service nor calm users. They had a golden opportunity with DOOM Eternal including it with Premier, many people would have bought STADIA.
Now I think about those 180 million to Blizzard and I wonder what they were for.
