Hello @GraceFromGoogle
@Will Google. Be providing founders, who did not get hardware / access / codes etc on the 19th of November, some sort of compensation in terms of free games or money back etc
We signed up to an agreement that we would all get day one access. This was not the case.
There should be something provided to founders more than just messages saying that things are being resolved.
Please reply.
Yours,
A disgruntled Google Stadia Founder..
You do realise that so far this is the most succesful cloud gaming service launch in the history on mankind, right?
World First. Breaking records.
What's next. Can we buy homes in the cloud? ![]()

To be honest, I think that is why we are getting two games on Pro this month. I can't think of any other reason why they would put Tomb Raider on sale then give it to Pro.
I hope they come out and are transparent with us, but that's my guess. (Disclosure- I got access around 6 pm on the 19th.)
I'm not so sure it's really successful thus far. It may be the biggest cloud gaming launch, but it's being hammered by almost all the critical reviews; granted I think they are inexperienced with cloud gaming and not really a fair comparison directly compare to a console/pc. The first successful cloud gaming service was OnLive but it has its own issues.
I don't know why but I have a gut feeling they will do something for founders around christmas time, I don't know why lol. Just a strong feeling (I'm most likely wrong)
I agree some compensation is warranted given the issues around the launch, especially towards the delayed hardware deliveries and, most importantly, delayed invitation codes. You can throw in the lack of other services they said would be there. It does not have to be much, but something to indicate that they're acknowledging the issues. A game would be good. I would say Assassin's Creed Odyssey since it was the public beta game.
100% about other services. The advertised line up was not what was delivered.
Yeah I still feel we should get some compensation for the promise that we (as a founder) are able to play "at launch date". This was not possible, because of
In my opinion this was still false advertise regarding the founder's edition. I mean, I bought it to play on launch date and not 1 week later.
The other thing Google could have done was postpone the launch-date to 25th November for example, then everything would have worked fine. Or even deliver the packages and access codes earlier.
There was a lot that went totally wrong with this launch. I mean, I am very happy to be able to play it now and it works fine for me, but for this whole desaster it would be indeed nice, to get at least a little bit of compensation.
I feel like if we were going to get something we already would have. But at the same time they are still trying to figure things out for the founders who orders got cancelled. So maybe they are waiting for all of them to get settled before doing it.
So if not next week or the week after that I would say we get nothing.
I would be nice to have an official response from somone at Google though. Even if to say there is nothing.
Oh class action, now there's a thought.
