Community of players dissatisfied with Stadia support

If anyone wants to add their experiences with Stadia, especially customer support / performance, please share. Too many of us are fed up with the degrading performance / crashes that what we copied and pasted interactions with support to aggregate and come to the podium. People are paying for Pro to get 4k, and are selecting 720 to hopefully be able to play without multiple crashes. Still no solution that helped and some of us are in high level tech jobs, so we can understand the solutions / advice given, yet no performance has returned as it once was when signed up. . The finger is / has been individually pointed at the customer repeatedly. As a group, there aren't enough fingers for them to point at us. Looking for stadia to address desynchronization, and to provide a simpler troubleshooting situation for users that don't understand what their current support is telling people to do. Not everyone is as inclined as others might be to understand how to go into router settings, mess around, maybe hit the wrong thing, mess up their whole home service network, I think you can see how this is going... Thank you for your input.

To be honest, I have never seen anyone pointing the finger at the user when it comes to an issue with Stadia, personally, I try to troubleshoot any issue I read on the forum at the best of my capabilities, but in cloud gaming, many things can go wrong and troubleshooting all the possible causes is often a difficult if not impossible task, but question after question, bit after bit we can understand what can cause the issue, sometime not, the cause of each frame drop, desync or any other issue could be everywhere, the more info (and as you said the more tech-savvy the user is) the easier is to pinpoint and solve, there is a tool to provide simple guidance to users that are not really into tech, is a step by step online help dedicated to Stadia, you can find it here https://support.google.com/stadia/workflow/10017321 but the reality is that sometime the issue can't be solved if not by digging deep in technical discussion, or sometime it could be even impossible to solve (like ISP declaring more bandwidth than the effective one), but in the end I think that since November 2019 an incredible amount of things are improved, and I can see improving even more in the nearr future!

This is for sharing experiences that are not a stroke of the back to the future of what is perceived of stadia. this is for the current degradation that many are experiencing. that we did not experience before. and should not accept as project stream was the beta and stadia is the alpha. 

customer support / technical support is what this is in regards to. not a stroke on the back as to what stadia is regarding the future.   this is aimed directly at users in communities that are discussing this heavily as the platform fails to exceed what it sells to customers. the problems are notably worse. i.e. crashing mid game more frequently. having to set your resolution to 720 to be able to hopefully not have a crash, or to even run a game smoothly while connected to ethernet?  not acceptable. there are people on pro that are on 4k and cant keep the resolution up without constant crashes. so if customer service tech service cant see the problem with taking this more passionately, then why charge users monthly for a beta like experience?

that is why the post is for people to join in and share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. to shed light. not to hopefully see light in the future...... key word.... hopefully.

I am a user of this community, I had ups and downs with Stadia, and looked here when I had some issue, the "stadia guide" badge means only that I'm an active and helpful member,  by no means I'm a Google employee or anything similar, you asked for a simple troubleshooter for users that are not technical advanced the link I sent you is what is closer to what you asked if you search on the form many solved their issues by using it, but of course,  it is not always so simple, and many times the issue is not on the user machine nor on Stadia servers, but again, each case is unique, and each user that posted here the issue were treated with respect and people from the community tried to help. 

I have never tried project stream, but stadia for me is the best service in cloud gaming at the moment, I'm able to play games that I weren't able to play before, do you have at the moment any issue? would you like to solve it? the community is here, as it is here for all the users that ask for help.

i am asking the people that have already contacted for support or troubleshooting to drop their experiences with stadia support. and to share their experiences as well with the platform. I understand what you are trying to say and defend, but this is actually not for defense. it is for offense.  People are fed up. More problems have occurred and it is being talked about more and more. so, if you wouldn't mind, please allow this page be referenced for the users that are experiencing problems and not currently looking for more tech support.   for customers that are fed up with sub par or less than sub par performance that has happened over time. my referencing of the finger pointed at me, as the reason to why i am having the same issues as others, is what needs to be erased. the service was impressive at launch. It is gradually becoming a disappointing experience. and if tech support / customer service can only throw a link to you, with a simple questionnaire, then an end result of you can go into your router settings and change ports etc., then say its the ISP's problem, then i start looking at finger pointing. and not their team pointing at themselves at all which is a shame on Stadia. This is a place for customers to come and share their experiences with degrading performance, not getting what they pay for, and seeing that what they might have given up on and accepted, that it is not ok. If these problems were fixed in a week, where performance was not an issue, then there would be no need for me to post this on multiple platforms. I appreciate your attention to the post, but it simply is not for anything other than previously explained.

All my games are unavailable to play in my country. that the error i get when i try to play. I live in the United States. yeap and support has no idea how to fix it. Isp has all the setting right and i ping chicago which if i remember right is in the u.s., i could be wrong. i have 30 plus games all unable to be played. you go stadia with all this amazing progress.

There is some desynchronization here. Being the tech person in my family, I know to troubleshoot, and for days now, I have been trying to fix the "check your connection error" with some help from the @twitter team and trying to mess with my router settings. With no luck...  The Stadia support is there, but I am paying for pro. I cannot play stadia on my home Wi-Fi network on all my different screens and do not have an android phone to play it on the go.

Therefore, you must grab an android tablet, set up your phone's Hotspot, connect the tablet to the hotspot, then reset the controller to the iPhone hotspot, and finally, play the game on a small screen consuming hotspot data rather quickly.

And thanks for taking the time to write on this post. I hope other people see it so we can hopefully find some kind of resolution. I know for the past two months I've had nothing but issues, disappointment, and a sudden interest to stop purchasing games from  stadia, which is not something I think they want at all. and speaking with other communities there is a shared disdain for allowing players to be deceived by the simple system requirements of just being able to utilize the latest release of chrome for seamless playback. What a shame.
