How do I apply for a position in Strategy and Market Development?
I am not going to go on a rant to explain my frustration.
My point is, Google, Stadia can do better with it’s advertisements. Very easily. It would not be a difficult task at all to make Stadia vastly more popular and make people more aware of it.
It’s been more than 6 months since launch and I can’t tell you how many gamers I know who are completely unaware that Stadia even exists. It’s frightening to think that it’s been obscured this long. Please, let me help.
Hi @FuhXe303
you can have a look at https://careers.google.com/jobs/ ![]()
Nevertheless, feel free to report your ideas, problems and wishes using the feedback function of the Stadia mobile app. The team will read them!
I know what you mean @FuhXe303, sometimes I feel as well a bit more advertise would be good for this platform.
Although so far I have seen it already in Google Play advertises, on TV and in Internet advertises, so a bit seemed to be done already, but I am sure you have many more ideas on how to improve this, which is great!
Best you can usually do is giving your ideas by providing feedback to the engineers. You can submit this feedback in the Stadia app by tapping your profile icon in the top-right, then navigating to the "Feedback" section. The Stadia team reads every piece of feedback, so this is the best way to get your voice heard!
If you want to apply for a marketing or other position with Google, I can recommend to check out careers.google.com. Don't know if Stadia has any specific marketing-positions available at the moment, but general ones can be found there as well.
I think best we can do at the moment to help Stadia, is also to spread the word. The best advertise is meaningless if we (the community, fans, gamer, etc.) are not helping by telling others that it's fun for us. And even then I believe that some gamers prefer other platforms as well, which might also be why they haven't informed themselves about Stadia, because they don't need it at the moment (but as things change, it might become more interesting later). Heard from some Xbox friends for example that they get a lot of games with the Xbox pass, which is why Stadia is not interesting for them at the moment. But as mentioned, I think Stadia is on a good way at the moment, and if everyone of us is helping a bit too, it might be good as well.
Hey there. I know that the marketing for this amazing service is total crap. I honestly wish that more people would open their eyes to it... Unfortunately, It doesn't seem to be the case. I advocates for Stadia to everybody who I talk to about video games... I'm actually really proud of it. I've been on it for 3 years now and haven't found a reason to buy a ps5. (Honestly, if I wanted to, I could just get my playstation kicks from my brothers house) and it's so saddening to see that people aren't on this service. For 1, it can be played for free, (although pro is the way to go) For 2, practically everybody has a google account, and for 2, the amount of gameplay available is freaking ridiculous. I was so worried when they announced that they were closing their studio. As I was already so deep within Star is that I didn't want to see it leave so soon. But it held its place. Good for them... My question, is how the heck do I become a QA for the service? Although they do not have a game studio anymore, they have the service... And I could advocate for it on social media and even stream gameplay for them on say, Youtube. (Another google service) I have been with Google with this service for so long VERY loyally. I feel like this would be a dream job for me.
