Hi Community,
I have saved a game-status on Wolfenstein Young Blood but I cannot launch it. It always says "Choose" but chosed already. I paid money for this game and seems to be no support available.
Thats disappointing and, to be honest, its annoying.
Is there a way to get an information how to launch the saved game or what the problem is ?
Unfortunatly I cannot get my money back because I bought the game several weeks ago....
Very disappointing once again - also from bethesda-nets side....
What I can do here ? How can I get help or support ? Is there a way to get my money back ? If this does not work I do not want that game
Thank you in advance
Not sure what issue you are experiencing in this game.
Also, I do have two bethesda account I made for this game on two stadia accounts so I could multiplayer this game. co-op. If your not having a bethesda account is the reason for your experiencing an issue, then I do agree, it kind of is annoying that many games often require us or force us to make accounts in order to play them even after we have already bought them.
There are three save slots in this game, I can acces them in the main menu of the game after launching the game. The first saveslot was from my solo game. The second one, for multiplayer coop. And third is empty.
I just selected which on I want. Each saveslot shows amount of time played, level of your character and precentage game completion. Thats all there is to it. So you do not save the game, the game just save your character plus its game world progession. Which you can acces from main menu save slot.
Unless you are talking about the inability to save the Ingame playable retro Wolfenstein Arcade player, this oldschool retro game I think its what its called, this cannot be saved for some reason. The save feature doesnt work in that minigame arcade player. I think The game just unlocks levels you have reached and allows you to replay old ones. Thats it.
The real wolfenstein youngblood game itself saves automatically as far as I am aware, there is no save option I have seen or noticed. It saves whenever you reach a checkpoint I think. And then you got acces to that checkpoint via metro map, which is a world navigator. That is available in most levels.
But the save slot does work for me. I can acces different characters with different gameworld and character level progression.
And again I gotta say, I just tested this, bu I have not tested this without a bethesda account. I have never tried playing the game without bethesda game accoun linked to the game/stadia account. Because I got it specifically for multiplayer and unfortunately I noticed I think that multiplayer is not possible without making an bethesda account for the game. Maybe this is a cross platform playability requirement thing. I'm not sure why some games require accounts.
also dont know how having a bethesda account affects the ability to acces different save slots and how it affects automatic progression saves.
The first mission does take a while, so the game saves your character progression everytime you "die" and then after you find winkler the main mission and win there, then the first checkpoint of the game is saved and the main hub becomes available/unlocked/accesible.
Hello @DarkTrinity,
I'm sorry to hear you're facing an incident.
Could we please have a screenshot of your problem ?
Here is your options :
Keep us in touch !
Hi @Barthandelus ,
thanks for your answer, but I do not see a way to contact the support by email or so. There are only help sites and knowledgebases - really ridiculous to call this a "support". If I click on the letter-icon, I only see my rating in regards to one of their KNB articles....
Further more I have no twitter account and I do not want one...
Very disappointing

Thanks a lot for your detailed answer, but I don't really understand.... "Arcade Retro" ?
I am playing Wolfenstein Young Blood (german version) with a linked Bethasia account in it. And I am playing offline - single game. As far as I understand the game stores only once I complete a whole level. In others words - nothing will be stored until I find Winkler. And once I found him, the game will save automatically, as I then will have reached the first checkpoint.
And if would play online-multiplayer (what I do not), I could use another slot where I would save my charackters development ?
yeah you dont have to use another save slot. You can play online and offline and even continue to play and replay the game on the Same Saveslot / character, even after you have completed the game. Atleast this is my experience so far, but with bethesda account.
But if you die in the game, the points, exp, coins, your character gathered and floppy disks, they all remain as far as I am aware. So thats why I assumed the game also saves after each "death." I never lost progress tho, and I never used any manual save feature.
And ofcourse tried changing save slot and it seems to work fine for me. I can acces my low level character and world progress save slot, and high level character and world progress and save slot. I just happened to use two save slots, but its not necessery. So thats why I checked out for you if it works when I acces another save slot and launch the game. And it seems to work simply fine for me.
The retro game, is a minigame that can be accesed inside the maingame. You walk up in the maingame to an old arcade machine/box, and you hear like low bit music and sound, and you can enter that arcade machine box and play it as if your ingame character is now playing the old classic wolfenstein 3d game of decades ago. I found this in the catacombs, which is the main hub of the game. I think you can pretty much hear the sound of the oldschool arcade machine box playing low bit music, if you come close. It's for sure in the catacombs, the main hub after you find and defeat general winkler, the first mission of the game.
Last time I played, the first checkpoint I found after finding winkler. So even if I failed to defeat winkler, I would be able to start playing from there.
I just found out a bug that causes all progress to be lost when the game doesnt save/load checkpoint in brother 1 (castle mission).
So there is indeed a save/checkpoint/load issue.
Ah - ok
On the website of Bethesda I would not see a way to raise this bug .....
Somehow I saved a game - but I don't know how i did this. How can save when i want to stop playing ?
I think it just saves automatically. I never used any save. ![]()
