I tried to configure a family payment method (both via stadia.com or via google play), but every time I try to accept the transaction for verifying my bank account is legit, my banking app (N26) tells me an error occurred.
After chatting with them, they told me that I can't accept a transaction that is 0.0€ (it would work if it was for example 0.1€ like other platforms do before refunding you).
I don't know what to do, I was very eager to setup sharing for my family to enjoy ![]()
Similar situation here, but we solved it finally. The family manager added a payment method, and it was visible in the playstore. However, when they tried to activate family sharing on stadia, it just led to error messages. Google support coulden't find the solution for us.
To solve it, the family manager just recreated the family group and re-invited the members back. Then the problem disappeared. In our case... it seemed to be some weird bug.
Same story here - just that I already have a payment method on Google but it just shows me that an error occurred when I choose to add the family payment method

This might be a dumb question, but is there another payment method you can try? Credit card instead of debit perhaps?

I hope your solutions works for me as well. A shame Google couldn't figure this out by themselves and fix it!
