Can I leave the game paused for a long time?

Hi, I am new to Stadia and just started playing Cyberpunk 2077. 

 

This game does not have auto save funtionality and I play an hour or so a day so I find it bothersome to save and exit everytime I play.

 

So I was wondering what happens if I leave the game opened but paused (possibly open up the map screen?) for a long time, like a day, so that I can play tomorrow without reloading it. Is this acceptable?

Hey okdz. Welcome to Stadia.
The game will close first after some time (if you are away). If you restart the game within 10 minutes, Stadia will load your last game state. Otherwise, you will have to start over from your last game save.
Then eventually (if you are still away), Stadia will log you out automatically. You will then have to log in again.

By the way, Cyberpunk has autosave. Manual save is quick process too.
