Bluetooth sound latency and no gamepad input detected on 4g

Jump to Best Response

I bought the pixel 2xl, it doesn't have a earphone jack and bluetooth earphone sound comes way late.

Also playing stadia on 4g works better than wifi, more smooth and stable, but gamepad input not detected. I tried pressing everything. Nothing responds.

If anyone knows what I could do to fix this issue. Thanks. I posted a feedback via the app aswell.

@Greenhill It's great that you submitted feedback through the app. Hopefully the quality can be improved in the future.

I'm curious how you were able to play Stadia on 4G though. You're supposed to be able to play through WiFi only. Were you using hotspot? And internet connection shouldn't affect gamepad input detection. Can you explain more your setup?

Yeah stadia app allows wifi only.

4g works on google chrome. On my pixel 2xl. It also works very well on my huawei y7.

Perhaps this is an feature not supported yet. So that makes sense that the gamepad doesn't respond as it does on the app.
