Be wary when dealing with ubisoft

Jump to Best Response

So basically the other day when purchasing Warlords of New York was charged twice for it, I contact stadia they said it wasn’t them and to contact bank so did a little digging and found this thread:

https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthread.php/1575826-Charged-TW

Apparently they sometime charge you twice and one payment they take as a hold or some BS thing like that then put it back in bank about 10 working days later, who knows what would’ve happened if didn’t have enough to cover the second charge possibly bank fees so would recommend for any purchases make sure you have double the amount needed.

good to know. Unfortunately, things like that can happen at anytime with anything. I love paypal for that reason though, its pretty save to get that money back in no time. I never used another payment method when buying things online.

I never used PayPal @ChronosP are you saying if this did occur and I had PayPal it would have been resolved by now instead of chasing stadia, ubisoft and my bank to see who owes me?

If so I will definitely make a paypal account for less hassle if it happens again.

Paypal is the safest payment option for online purchases. Infact, its so buyer friendly that I would as go as far as to say its seller hostile!

So yes, nothing wrong in a paypal account.
