Baldurs Gate 3 wont Update

I have owned the Baldurs Gate 3 EA since it came out, and I've been trying to play multiplayer with my friends recently but it has said we aren't on the same version and at the moment my version of BG3 is 4.1.85.1780, and my friends version is 4.1.85.5707 on Steam which as I looked up applies to the most recent hotfix, yet mine has stayed the same since October. I don't know if I'm supposed to manually update or anything, but frankly I am stumped, and if I am supposed to do it myself I don't know how. Would appreciate any help anyone can give! Thanks

Larian has said that both versions would have times they're not on the same version.

But 2 Hotfixes Behind? Should I expect it will right itself when the new patch comes out?

Not sure if you heard but the game is also getting wiped soon, your saves will be lost and the game will reset and maybe then it will be same across the board.

Yea I heard, I guess I’m sorta wondering/nervous if Stadia is gonna be put last in line again for the new patch and if they are gonna be a whole month behind steam with the patch like they are with the Hotfixes right now. I just want it to happen at the same time tbh.
