Hey everyone, just saw the gameplay and cinematic trailer for Baldur's Gate 3 and I'm so looking forward to it! Finally a real PC-only (at least at release) game coming to Stadia, and it's a hell of a good one! It's set to release later this year in early access (they talked about "a couple of months from now") and Google previously put it in the list for 2020
In case you missed it, here's the good stuff:

Only question is: is Stadia going to provide early access as steam does? I guess it's early to say, hopefully yes ![]()
@Trantor That's a good question on the early access. I don't believe there's any official announcement so far with regards to that. That would be great to have though. Hopefully we'll see something like it in the future.

I am still not sure what to think of BG3 after having watched that stream Thursday.
As I played BG1 and 2 a lot, I really miss the style of those two games. BG3 is more in the way of Destiny Original Sin, which I tryed to play and the story began really nicely, but I am still fiddling with this round-based thing. On the other hand side I love a lot of playstyle-abilities that DOS is offering for example stacking crates, sneaking and break out of the hide in the sun (which is logically, but BG for example never did that) and the jumping that you can do.
Even though I would still have preferred another BG-style game like Osidian did with Pillars of Eternity, which has the playstyle and look of the old Baldurs Gate games.
I guess I will buy it anyway, because Baldurs Gate III looks like a fantastic game, but I am kind of missing this old feeling that I had when playing Baldurs Gate 1 and 2.
If there's a early access, do we need to sign up for it anywhere?
@Ogoid It's unclear at the moment if you need to sign up for Early access later.
At the moment I assume as soon as it's available for Early Access you will be able to buy it on all available platforms (e.g. Stadia, Steam, etc.). If it's needed to create an account with Larian for example, this would be part of the installation process or even mentioned before buying it I guess.
Best you can do at the moment, would be to subscribe for updates on the official BG3-Site or keep an eye here in the Community Blog or on blog.google.com as I assume Google will announce this asap as well when it's out!
P.s: Last rumour I heard was August for the Early Access.
Stadia gets "early access" too, according to: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-02-27-baldurs-gate-3-interview
I'm really hoping we'll get early access. I'd also like to preorder it and other games on Stadia, but that feature is still missing.
