[edit: PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO USE LINEFEEDS]
When playing a game, when going into certain game menus in games while playing them [such as settings menus etc].
The audio gets lost randomly to sound device. A reboot of the sound system is required to restore audio.
Here is the technical data...
Nakamichi Shockwafe Elite 7.2.4 DTS-X/Atmos Sound Bar
LG OLED55C9AUA 55" ThinQ OLED
Sound is set to soundbar only utilizing digital optic cable [toslink] connection Using Chromecast Ultra from Founders Edition.
For example, while playing Farming Sim 2019, if you go into the menus and sit for like 60 seconds, then come out, sound is lost. I have to turn off sound bar, and then turn it back on and audio will resume..
If playing NBA2K20, and switching game modes, randomly will lose audio. Again the fix is to turn off the sound bar and turn it back on... Never has it lost audio when just playing... So something is causing it [im assuming it being the receiver] to disconnect
Most TVs have a way to set the output through your TOSLINK cable such that the TV interprets the data and sends something the soundbar will be compatible with, or it sends raw data out (pass-through) and lets the sound-system/bar interpret it. See if you can find such a setting and set it something else.
