I am really amazed with stadia, it works flawless for me.
but I really want to play some racing sim using my racing wheel, something like project cars, assetto corsa, rfactor...etc
As for now the only racing game is GRID (and is not simulation) and apparently (I've not test it) racing wheels are not supported.
anyone else interested in these features/games?
Looking on the Codemasters forum and they released the full list of compatible steering wheels for F1 2020 on the PS4, XBox One and PC but unfortunately nothing was listed for Stadia so I think that answers our question.
Very disappointing.
I tried my g29 wheel with a chrome plugin. It worked but the deadzone is very **bleep**ty. Stadia really need to make wheels possible. Almost wanted to cancel my subscription and buy f1 on the pc.
@StadiaTeam do you guys have any information about supporting wheels on stadia?
No news about wheel support at the Stadia connect...
I was half expecting there would be, silly me.
I think I'm going to go the route of picking up a cheap second hand Xbox so I can play F1 2020 with my G920.
Yes I expected this to
F12020 without the wheel is just not the same. I bough the game on stadia. The available chrome plugins are not proper working. Please @StadiaTeam update us on when this will be fixed(wheel support).
I don't buy F1 2020 until they're at least one official wheel support
Apparently it's close: https://stadiasource.com/article/906/Stadia-App-Version-229-Released-Today
Version 2.32 and still no support for steering wheel, purchased F1 2020 short while ago, to be honest not sure why I bothered as playing this without wheel support is just bonkers. Google you need to get it together and get wheels supported or don't bother selling games that should be played with steering wheel.
At the point now as to whether stadia is worth the monthly subscription may just stick with Xbox.
The only wheel that I know works is the Serafim R+1, mainly because it's detected as a 360 controller, this works on PC and Android TV. So if you want something that works that won't break the bank this is the only option, just remember it's not as good as the top brands, but it works.:)
@Deleted User do you know if it works on Chromecast? I really need a steering wheel to enjoy F1 properly...
@Matt1 At the moment, until the Chromecast ultra is updated to work with third party controllers, unfortunately that's a no.
See here: https://support.google.com/stadia/answer/9578631
This will only work with the app installed on Android TV, Android device or using Chrome browser.
Ah well, thanks any for posting the details. Hopefully they will add it soon...
Any update on this? Anyone tried a Steering Wheel with tandem mode?
Still nothing???
Looks like they don't read this topic. Waiting for one year. And yes I already bough F1 2020 on stadia ![]()
Stadia with no wheel support= lame
to bad
To help some of you: I used https://www.x360ce.com/ to make the wheel work on windows. It worked but It didn't feel 100%.
On my macbook I used the ControlStadia Chrome plugin. Also here i still felt some delay.
I did switch back to the controller as I was faster with the controller without the input lag.
@StadiaTeam can you update us ?
when we will able to use streering wheels on stadia to play F1? as here we are all for the same game
Thank you
Wheel support along with F1 becoming a Pro game would be huge!
Hey Google
Set a timer for 15 minutes and if you don't have support for the Logitech G920 by the time it runs out, cancel my subscription and watch me sell my Android devices, grab an iPhone, cancel Gsuite for my business and order Office 365 and always use Bing for my searches.
A company as big as Google should have knocked Stadia out of the park. Yet it's horrible.

YES!! Love Stadia about time I hear something positive. I would love to play with a wheel but not willing to spend cash to test on Chrome.
@StadiaTeam this is still not an option? Why is it so difficult to tell us about this?
Any News about wheel Support, i tried my 300gt on chrome and nothing happens...
Hi. My goal was to play Grid on Stadia with my old Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel. Thanks to Necroware Gameport to usb adapter (https://github.com/necroware/gameport-adapter and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSJLgCD8jeM) and the XOutput project (https://github.com/csutorasa/XOutput), based on the https://vigem.org/ framework, that emulates a Xbox 360 controller, I'm able to play in Stadia with the old wheel. Other words are my skills at driving and the Stadia input lag
I did create my own interface using an Arduino Uno and micro servos. You can watch it on youtube: youtube.com/watch?v=ShA7vE_95KQ
