This is support Stadia, in return I received a faulty controller ... So if I make publications complaining, being sarcastic or cynical with Stadia. You definitely had no luck with your controller, disability and all at this moment. I suggest you contact the customer support so they may repare your faulty controller. In the mean time, you could always order another controller if you don't want to wait for the first one to be repaired.

However Stadia did mention quite early that functions like playing on any mobile wouldn't be available in the beginning, so only pixel phones would have the timed exclusivity in the first months. I wouldn't say they lied about the rest (4K on chrome, youtube integration, etc), however I believe they weren't ready for it and couldn't deliver satisfying service on due date. It might as well be available when all is good for it than rush the thing, disappoint everyone and be forgotten a week later. We need patience here.

I've been quite cfritical in many posts, about the communication and lack of regular releases and roadmap. I talked openly and never had any issue. In my experience, we can tell our opinion without any issue, either here or reddit, as long as we are respectful.

What exactly is your problem?

You have a 4K TV and can't play your games in 4K? What exactly did the support tell you?

And what has the faulty controller to do with it?

No, I haven't contacted customer support yet. My anger is because I have invested in Stadia. I bought a TV, a Tablet and a Phone.

 

But it seems that Stadia has not returned that investment and I received a controller with the broken left stick. Unfortunately I have a herniated disc since December 30, so using the warranty right now is ruled out in my case. I will not spend 30 days without a controller and without a chromecast ...

 

Stadia is the only thing I have right now. I'm in bed without being able to move. Stadia never warned that the service would be incomplete or that the controller was of low investment.

 

The money doesn't bother me ... I would happily buy another controller. But ... what if I also get defective?

 

I've seen on Twitter delete posts from user clips with a faulty controller, hiding the problem publicly. And on some occasion I made a critical comment with Stadia and I deleted the post ... just for being critical.

 

I understand that Stadia has not had the best release. But some employees are acting in bad faith. hurting its customers. Stadia's biggest problem is not the little game catalog or missing functions.

 

Stadia does not have the confidence of the gamer world.

@Whito : Is "'dog" making a reference to me?  If that isn't the case then I apologize for misinterpreting your message .  But if you are then what on earth makes you think that I made a report about you?  I can assure you 100% that I have yet to make any reports about your posts on this forum, and if you falsely believe that I have then you are 100% mistaken in that belief.

I will also confirm that I am not, nor have I ever been an employee of Google either in a permanent or contractual capacity.  My involvement on the Stadia forums is purely voluntary.

No it's not with you Mad ... I have a bad habit of calling the community managers moderators dogs. I also had a bad experience in Black Desert Online where the CM was Spanish like me. Sounds like you’ve had a problem which you have not tried to report / get resolved through the proper channels. It doesn’t make too much sense - why not just report you faulty controller and I’m sure you’d be sent a new one.

@Nilas Certainly after reading my publication and commenting that I had a similar case with a CM in another community ... this can be interpreted as being disrespectful, I will say that it is not the case, I only made copy / paste of a specialized press article and leave a small personal opinion "maybe sarcastic" but not disrespectful, the publication was marked as spam ... and in Black Desert Online I was banned from the forums after a long dispute with the CM via private message ... not even It was in the public forum ... since then I have no good appreciation for certain employees of companies that treat customers based on their personal feelings ... instead of giving a business deal.

It could be true, but I would lose the entire premiere package that includes chromecast as well ... with receipt of the new package and shipping of the defective on two different dates and bank retention of the entire premiere edition until Google receives my defective package.

In addition, nothing assures me that I will not receive any defective hardware again ... suppose that in a new package I receive a defective chromecast.


I have no confidence of receiving hardware in good condition.

And I would not like to enter a loop of returns and retentions and shipments.


So far, even with my faulty controller, it supported Stadia.


I just can't do it anymore
