I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 and its got a fantastic screen.
Now the recent announcement about new phone support also mentioned tablet support, so I'm wondering when support is coming to Android tablets?
I was hoping this was last week, but so far the update works on my Galaxy Note 9 for Stadia play, but my Android tablet cannot yet!
Do we have any info on dates please for the tablets?
Thanks in advance ![]()
Just fired up stadia on my Galaxy S6 tablet for the 1st time!!! Awesome!!!! Apparently there's a section under setting called experiments. This will allow you to play Stadia through the app on the device in your hands. So far it works nicely.
At the moment we don't have any dates for Stadia on Android tablets, but I guess Google is working on that already. ![]()
If you want to push for that, you could also leave feedback in the Stadia App or on stadia.google.com to make the developers aware again on which device you would love Stadia to have.
Wish you the best that it'll be available soon!
You still can play stadia on your new tablet ( for now just 1080p not 4k)
Just use desktop mode on chrome when going too on stadia.com too play
How? The game runs but there's no way to actually play. Touching the screen does nothing and it doesn't pick up my bluetooth controller at all.
Hi apologies for the long delay in response here but I thought I'd share that I can't get the tablet working per @Nightcrow comments above.
Sure I can get the game to start but just can't get any controller recognising Stadia on the tablet despite being able to use Xcloud, GFN without issue with an Xbox controller on the same device- so basically I just cant get Stadia working on the tablet with Stadia or Xbox controller, wired or wireless.
Anyone getting this working with controller support care to share step by step setup info? I'd be very grateful.

@Shadowdarck you can use this:

Worked for me with Stadia controller ![]()
Thanks @Mogoz .
Ok nearly there...... I can get the games running but the Stadia controller doesn't work in that I get a mouse dialogue box pop up when certain buttons are pressed.
Have you managed to get around this one?
Xbox one controller is fine (partly) apart from that it doesn't have all the buttons I.e. how to get to the map in The Division 2.
Hope that tablet support isnt too far away so that we can do away with all of the tweaking.
Hi @Shadowdarck since the Stadia controller works on wifi with Chrome, it's easier to play on a tablet. For the mouse dialog box, you can close it by clicking on the main Stadia button on your controller and press B to go back to your game. It works for me on a Galaxy S5e.
