Achievement Unlocked!

That is December - let's see what January looks like! At this rate we're gonna need a 3x Terabyte Plan...

lol.   This happened to me in Nov!   Possibly will in Dec.   I have Xfinity as well, and based on some math, the $50 surcharge for Unlimited Data, is not yet worth it for me.  I'll just be taking the incremental hits accordingly.  *Nov was had heavy downloads in general, not all Stadia's fault, ha...

@Stoked4Good I cannot find an Unlimited option in my Plan Management, I will have to contact their support, thanks for the heads-up!

I was at 800GB in Nov, and only started hammering the data pipe when I upgraded to the 1000Mb connection on Xmas eve - about the same time as my wife started playing on her own a/c too, so that didn't help! By my maths, we're doing 100GB/day, so we'll need 3TB/mo if we keep it up - an extra $200 ($10 per 50GB) for the 2nd TB and the 3rd TB would essentially be "free" (although at those prices, nothing is free!) For us, the $50 surcharge for unlimited data would be very sweet.

@Nilas where do you live?

Paris. I'm not sure how it all works for you but here everyone has TV and house phone through internet so we can't have limited data in house. We hope that when 5G (coming mid 2020) will allow unlimited mobile data.

I hope your internet providers get better and cheaper. It sucks that the money you'll save with stadia (rather than paying a console and a service like PS+ or xbox live gold) gets wasted to your internet providers. Hopefully Stadia as well as xcloud and every new cloud services will help to have everyone connected and no limits.

Yeah I figured you "social commies" would have the best speeds. But apparently "net neutrality" is unpatriotic? Or something? I dunno, I'm not even from here (Washington State, US). I'm waiting for them to start introducing dynamic electricity caps over here: using too much power? No more for you - unless you have a lot of money... no? Ah well, too bad... PS - we're piping our new lead-flavored water to your house now, no charge no matter how much you use!

(Sorry - heavy dose of sarcasm there if you couldn't tell!)

Still - I can wear $50 for unlimited, if I can get it. Take it out of my subsidized gas prices...

Here's my chart, give or take it updating today, ha...   Yeah, you'll most likely have reach out to support.  I suggest doing so via chat.  Easiest/efficient, etc.  Sales individual and Twitter confirms it's 50 for unlimited, just not readily displayed.  I was contemplating reducing my overall speed, just to get unlimited, and have it be manageable, but charging me slightly over on a monthly is my best bet, for now.  Should Stadia offer 4k and 60 FPS in everything, I'll be happy and screwed, lol.   What I really want is Google Fiber in my area!!!  1gb down,1gb up, and UNLIMITED DATA.   For what I feel is reasonably priced.  It'd buy it, if offered.  C'mon Google, give it to me!!!!  Google my life away, lol.

**bleep** that sucks. I guess you should use the 720p limitation on stadia (4,5gb/h) for a week per month if you don't want to pay extra every month.

Nilas - please hotspot across the ocean with your unlimited data, lol. Have yet to try 720, and probably won't. Balanced/1080 ftw, till I find the cure to my data cap. : /

Got the data cap removed, thanks for the tip @Stoked4Good - not readily available because they want to up-sell their bundles. Less money but more complications down the line so I took the straight $50 option.

SOME day we'll be able to hotspot across the Atlantic, maybe when SpaceX get their Starlink network fully deployed!
