I see a lot of 2D games and I am not the only one that finds them that we are back at 1980's when we first start making video games.![]()
even this Minecraft or any look like it with pixel blocks i personally find them total ungly games.i was building such things back at 1990's as a kid on commodore, atari, spectrum and amiga PC's.please add real games we pay that we pay monthly subscription and a lot money for even old games that you give.make it worth at least.( I will not complain for the web browser that many times kicks me out or that get glitches and even frozen total.because the Chromecast ultra works really good,it is getting very hot thou but it is working properly at least.)something you might also need to check is on Chromebooks I have Acer R13 I played only one time there and it never worked again.i believe that something is a miss there.if you make the service as you said it would work I may recommend stadia to everyone but until now I don't.i see no 4k no 60fps doesn't work in Chromebooks either the web browser is working as it is meant to be and I am very disappointed.my connection is from 15-189Mbps so it had to be working properly in all the settings and devices.honestly I would love to be proud about wireless gaming of stadia because it is the only one that (supports all screens and devices).I hope it will come eventually.
"please add real games"
That's a little unfair. Indie companies pour their heart and soul into their games because most of the time it's either their first or second game they've ever produced. They're not preasured by time restraints and they're free to express their creativity.
Granted Stadia could definitely benefit from a healthy mix of triple A and indie games but by all means don't write off indie games, a lot of people love them and it's so nice seeing new developers enter the scene. Stadia provides a great access point for these indie devs.
"the Chromecast ultra works really good,it is getting very hot"
It was designed to get hot. The little guy is doing a lot of work to get you a smooth experience. Unless the ccu starts acting up or giving you weird visuals, it's perfectly fine that it gets hot. Make sure there is air circulating to it, wherever you have it plugged in.
i see no 4k no 60fps doesn't work in Chromebooks
Your laptop needs to support vp9 decoding in order for you to use 4k. Perhaps check to see if that laptop supports it, and if it does. Try a wired connection when you play. You may have a better experience.
Pitty we can't have a conversation here Fai.you might need to fix this too.so I will answer you on this topic.

Hi there
The games are coming, the only issue is that we are at a poor time for games as we are about to transition from one console generation into another which is always difficult. As for your chromebook issue I have the exact one you have and I did find that I had an issue at the start.
Can you tell me if the issue is just a black screen?
Furthermore as for the 4k side, stadia now caps your performance at what the asset can do. So for example if you have a 4k tv then you can select 4k assuming you have pro. However on your phone/chromebook you will most likely only be able to select 1080 as you most likely won't have a 4k screen.
About the 4k wasn't meantioned on the Chromebook but as general.i play from pc browser, mobile app, Chromebook once and I fixed it finally and Chromecast ultra via TV. that's why I put on every word the ",".
And it is pitty that I also replied the solution here but probably someone didn't like the truth about an amateur as myself could finally solve that issue and post it in here for the rest that encounter the same problem and delete it.
I agree with you. There is so much strange stuff going on.
Where are all the missing features?
- Where is the Youtube integration?
- Where is the Assistant integration, other then "start Destiny 2 lol"?
- Where is Crowd Play?
- etc.
I also have the Acer R13. The damned thing is a chromebook from 2017 I think, but has a hard time to play Stadia. lol, it's their own sytem! Geforce Now works flawless.. How do you rhyme that?
I don't mind all the Indie Games: those developers try to be really creative instead of Activision milking another Call of Duty. HOWEVER! People want to play AAA titles as well. Where are they? When CoD Black Ops drops on Stadia I am happy. Until then, don't hold your breath for Stadia.
Just share a list of all the developers you got on board. We don't need to know which games. If you tell me: "Activision is on board", I will know enough.
And for the love of Games: please update your This Week on Stadia blogs. We are not only interested in games. We also want to know what features you are working on. What developers you signed to the platform, why there is a delay in some stuff.
Google has their marketing set to "cruise-mode" while they are definitely not there yet. Yes it's a big company, but that rocky launch and the declining interest in Stadia shows me they need to push way harder, to convince the !
- Where are Youtube Ads?
- Where are the Display Banners?
- Search for "Cloud Gaming". No Google Ad and not even on the first page of free results.
- Where are any advertorials on gaming-websites? All they do is tell the system had a rocky launch and all comments are full of haters asking if Google killed it already.
Google: use your own systems! Market that stuff or you won't keep up in this race!
Let's be real: you had a start in cloud gaming, but now we have Geforce Now out of beta and MS / xCloud are pushing as well. MS stopped with Mixer but is now fully supporting Facebook Gaming. Did it ever occur to Google that there could be some xCloud / FB Gaming integration coming? Amazon Luna is launching with Twitch integration and we still can't stream normally to YouTube LOL! And don't forget about Shadow. And what if Playstation will start streaming as well?
Google, wake up!
