AC Odyssey - Ezio Outfit

Hi all, 

I own AC Odyssey on PC and on Stadia. Have any Stadia players been able to find the new Ezio Outfit in the Club Rewards on Stadia? I see it on PC and it's apparently part of this free weekend play that starts today. Supposedly taking part in the free weekend unlocks the outfit, but it's at least visible in the Club Rewards already. But I have not been able to find the outfit on Stadia in the Rewards Club.

Has anyone seen it?

No. Could not find it either.

Asked on the ubisoft forum if it is aviable on Stadia but did not get an answer yet.

Nope. It doesn't appear to be available on Stadia. I also have the game on both Steam and Stadia and it's a shame the rewards don't sync even with UPlay.

I asked Ubisoft Support, and this was their reply:
Hello Zevioso,

Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Customer Support.

I am sorry to hear you are having an issue with locating content in your game. I regret to inform you that you will need to contact Stadia if you are not able to run the most recent update of the game. Since the game is run on there servers Google is responsible for the maintenance of the game. My apologies for any inconvenience.

So NOW I asked Google Stadia Support. I will see what their answer is I guess. I have a feeling it's not going to help, lol. They'll probably tell me to ask Ubisoft even though I included that response in my Stadia Support email. Will let you guys know what answer I get!

@Nilas I included the reply in my Stadia support request, and it was exactly what I expected. Ubisoft says "Hey man, sorry, it's THEIR server not ours" and Stadia says "Hey man sorry, it's THEIR content not ours!" Lol. Ridiculous!!! Total BS and handing off the problem to each other.

Here was Stadia's reply EVEN THOUGH I INCLUDED Ubisoft's message...

This concern should be best handled by the publisher's team (Ubisoft) as it is game-related, please do keep in touch with them for further updates. No worries, I will also make sure to share this with our team and will be glad to inform you once I receive any information about this concern.

Please do send a feedback on the Stadia app as well, so your concern will be directly forwarded to our Products and Developers team by following these steps:

 

  1. At the top right part of the screen, tap/click on your avatar.
  2. Scroll down and tap/click Feedback.
  3. Type in your feedback in the space provided.
  4. Tick the boxes beside Screenshot or System logs if you wish to include them in your report.

I would like to ask @ChrisFromGoogle how should Stadia customers handle issues like this? In my opinion, Stadia support needs to handle it, because I'm a STADIA customer. Yes, I am technically a Ubisoft customer too cuz I bought their game. But I bought it on this platform and the missing content is on this platform.

So Stadia should go to Ubisoft who is their PARTNER and say "hey... why don't our users have the same content as the other platforms? Is it something you didn't give us, or is it something we messed up on our end? How do we fix this for our Stadia customers?"

Telling me to follow-up with Ubisoft when you already see they kicked the ball to Stadia is really bad customer service. 

And YES... I did respond to the customer service rep with that same message.

This is a Stadia issue. The game on their servers is running the 1.52 version of the game. The update with the Ezio costume was 1.53. The promotion is over so it's unlikely updating the game server side would add the armor set.

If we're paying for Season Passes, they should be updating the game. We're not getting what we paid for.

Also I didn't intend to call out @ChrisFromGoogle . It's just that he does a decent job of responding in the forum, so his name came to mind. But I'd be happy to hear from @GraceFromGoogle or @StadiaTeam or anybody from Stadia on how they think this can/should be resolved. I definitely don't think it should be up to us customers to have to jump back and forth between the platform and the publisher. There have to be people whose JOB it is to do that. If not... hire me! I'll definitely accept payment to jump back and forth between platform and publisher to find solutions if no one at Google has already realized that they need people to do that. :winking_face:

Unfortunately, it seems like you have to really complain and tell people how bad their customer service is in order to get a decent (and fast) response. I basically replied and told them what I said up here about the reply and this was the new response... I don't know how TRUE it is, lol. But I guess in 24-48 hours I will see if I get an update:

"Hello,

Thanks for alerting me that you are still experiencing this issue. Apologies for the experience, I realize that this situation is difficult, but I will try to do my best and find a solution. I have already forwarded your concern to our Senior Support team and they are in the process of checking with the publisher if there is a known issue or bug report with the "Ezio Roman Set" as you have reported. I will make sure to get in touch with you as soon as I receive an update from our Senior Support Specialist within 24-48 hours.

We really appreciate your patience and understanding, Paul. Please have a great day and keep safe!"

 

It's not really a bug, as much as missing content. But they can call it whatever they want if they can get it fixed.

The most recent patch update 1.5.6 says that this has been added but I can't find it, can anyone else?

I also can’t find it. Many months later. Stadia is becoming such a joke at this point. Had a problem with Saints Row the 3rd, almost year later, no fix. This Ezio outfit thing has been going on for almost 1,5 years now and no one gives a **bleep**. They take my Pro Sub money, my purchases, and give NO SERVICE WHATSOEVER.

I've actually been in contact with ubisoft support about this for over three months now, they've escalated it twice but still not fixed it. I would recommend also opening a case with ubisoft support, the more of us stadia users who do, the more likely they'll fix it

Just opened another case then, and had it escalated. Also with links to Reddit / Stadia Forum / Ubi Forum / Youtube where people adress this more than a buying customer should.. Uploaded a video where you can see Xbox (where it shows the outfit) and Stadia (where it doesn’t show the outfit) at the same time, also showing the Update Client Number and my account in hooes they finally have enough info / proof to do anything about it..
