The new flight simulator look gorgeous... However, to fully enjoy the photorealistic graphic, you have to have some crazy computer, one that cost like $3000 and 150Gb storage...
With stadia data center infrastructures, this could be perfect, I would love to simply fly from L.A to Port au prince, from NYC to Luanda, from Paris to Sydney... this is the perfect game to chill.
The game has like all the world airport, the whole earth is modelled... With google machine learning (project chrimera), they can recreate the world in record time.
Hi @jayo2k
for sure, such games are perfect to be hosted in the cloud. Nevertheless, if you are talking auf the Microsoft FS, this seems (to me) rather unlikely that the game will be playable on Stadia anytime soon.
@Tobonaut not the microsoft game but they can make a similar one. I do not want to put thousands on a gaming PC nor buying a next gen console just to be kind of stuck playing at one place, not being able to play on the go
It's one of the team's goals to make it available everywhere, so let's keep hope!
> our goal is to have Microsoft Flight Simulator available on as many platforms as possible.
My personal perspective on flight sims on Stadia is that I would be very surprised if we saw any of the more advanced flight sims appear. The reason primarily being that it would be very difficult to provide an accurate flight simulation along the lines of Microsoft's, or even something such as Digital Combat Simulator / DCS World (my favourite) and still provide users the ability to play via CCU or a phone/tablet. These types of games lend themselves very much to more than just a typical game controller. They tend to be geared more towards HOTAS controllers, rudder pedals and other peripherals inc. VR headsets and/or head motion 6DF TrackIR type of devices.
Of course, more arcade style flight simulation games could make it over, it would depend really on what the target audience was going to be. Unless we were to start seeing titles that really are only intended to be played on just Chrome with a range of PC peripherals, which goes against the concept of Stadia and the play anywhere approach.
Just my thoughts.
Right now, after viewing all those amazing images anyone would at least try for a few days the Microsoft Flight Simulator, even with all "pro" features disabled, using just WASD and few other buttons...
But many can't afford it (due to good hardware needed, huge download, etc.)
If it was available on Stadia, almost anyone would al least pay for a month subscription just to try. And a few would stick too!
I was interest on your comment on mics*£t flightsimulator I also know that they include with Microsoft xbox game pass pc version I ve heard that run on normal pc no need to invest those over priced computors 10euro month
It just tip I think there more chance to see warzone on stadia than microsoft flight simulator![]()
If you just want to fly around to chill, use the google earth flight simulator: https://support.google.com/earth/answer/148089?hl=en
If you want to play the game on stadia give up your hopes
the game was made using bing maps and azure ai and asobo , google does not have partnerships with such big companies also if it is on the cloud and google make one then playing with a controller is far far from realistic and sucks and joysticks and all that will be fine on pc but on mobile it will suck also if you want to play it like that wait about 12 months till it comes on xbox then get game pass ultimate and then u can play it even without an xbox
I want a flight simulator simulator on stadia now!
Yeah GD IT !!!!
I would love to see Ace Combat 7 on Stadia. Let's message Bandai and ask them to bring it to Stadia!
I can play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 standard version on Xbox Cloud so, why not X-Plane 11 on Google Stadia which offer a better technology than microsoft cloud. I would love to be able to play X-Plane 11 on Stadia. I'm ready to buy it if necessary.
I would like very much play X-Plane 11 on
