I had ordered the Premiere Edition but then returned it because I was feeling like a beta tester of an unfinished product.
Now I can still log in but don't have access to the free games for Pro members.
1) Do I have a Base membership now? Can I just purchase games now?
2) How could I return to a Pro membership if I would want to, at the moment?
3) (When) will the offer of the Premiere Edition end? Will there be any successor, a package of the Chromecast Ultra together with a Stadia controller? Maybe with the black/gray controller?
4) Will I be able to play games on my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact with Android 9? When?
5) Why Google doesn't just publish a detailed time schedule of their upcoming plans?
According to rumours there will be other cloud gaming services coming in 2020 by Microsoft (XCloud), Valve (Steam), Amazon, ... And I would like to be sure before I'm starting to invest money on a new collection of games. At the moment there are too many unanswered questions to start with Stadia.
Hey @Deleted User,
to 1) Stadia Base is coming early 2020, so if you return your premiere edition, your Stadia Pro will be cancelled. You might still have access at the moment, but I have no idea if you are in fact at the moment on Stadia base or if this is just temporary and soon you'll lose the access (maybe as soon as you get the refund).
Here is some more information:
If I return my Stadia Controller or Chromecast Ultra, will my subscription be cancelled? Will I be refunded for the Founder's Edition?
If you return all of the contents of the Founder’s Edition within 15 calendar days after the day you received it, your 3-month Stadia Pro subscription will be cancelled and you'll be refunded for your purchase. Returning the Founder's Edition also means you'll lose access to the games you claimed as a Pro subscriber, your Founder's Stadia Name will revert to a standard Stadia Name, and your Founder's Badge will be removed. If the Buddy Pass included with your Founder's Edition has not been redeemed at the time of your return, the Buddy Pass and 3-month Stadia Pro subscription will be voided. If the Buddy Pass has been redeemed at the time of your return, the included three-month Stadia Pro subscription will be cancelled and the redeemer will lose their Stadia Pro benefits.
What happens to my claimed games if I stop my Stadia Pro subscription?
If you stop your Stadia Pro subscription, you'll lose access to the games that you claimed as part of Stadia Pro. If you later rejoin Stadia Pro, you will regain access to any Pro games you claimed in the past, but you won't be able to retroactively claim any games that had been offered while you were unsubscribed and are no longer available to claim.
2) You can just cancel the subscription like any other ones. Just follow the steps here. When you return your premiere edition though, the Stadia Pro subscription should be automatically cancelled (see above).
3) no idea, might be a permanent offer, that is a thing that only Google knows. You could leave feedback for this though, e.g. in the Stadia app or on stadia.google.com or even in the Google Store (store.google.com) that you would love an edition with a grey/black controller.
4) According to Google: Soon.
5) Yeah a lot of us have already left feedback for that, but at the moment Google doesn't announce a big roadmap. Maybe that's also better than promising something and not being able to hold on to that. At least new releases and upcoming Stadia Pro games are released at the moment a bit before and for general news, google normally also creates a post on their blog (blog.google).
Regarding the other cloud services though they have more unanswered questions relating to them than Stadia. Stadia is in its infancy you just have to be patient for information. If you don't want to invest money then just hold off for a bit.

Hey Guys!
Many thanks! Didn't expect a response that fast.
I've already received my refund weeks ago. And my account is still active.
Actually I thought that maybe someone of Google could give some insider informations to all of my questions.
@Truthfuleye: You're totally right! But I'm totally impatient. ![]()
Not knowing if I start with Stadia now, or look forward to any other service. I guess I'm not the only one thinking that way. And that's why I'm wondering why Google does not give us more informations. It's definitely not the monthly payment but 129 EUR for the Chromecast and controller which I don't have any other use for. That was the reason for me to return the bundle. Actually I love the idea of Stadia and also what it is so far but also with their mentioned (but not exactly descriped) plans for the future. For example I have already read that Stadia will work on more devices soon. That's cool. But on what devices? Does it have to be Android 10 maybe?
At the moment Google is in the perfect situation. They are the first who are offering a cloud gaming service in that advanced stage. But they don't use their position. If they would clearly present their roadmap with all promised (or wished) plans everyone would start his collection of games in Stadia and would stay at Google's even when there will come up more competitors because of investing already so much money.
