A concerned user: Does Google actually listen and value our feedback or just the noise?

I' not a professional software developer or network engineer but I have a basic, yet above-average, knowledge on some of those things and I can already easily identify few things that Google could do to improve the experience with their app.

I know very very well that if they wanted to, it would take them less than 1 hour to implement some basic features to Stadia app so Founders and Premieres can get some benefit of supporting the platform other than "You can play now other than in 2020".

There has been a lot of criticism towards Stadia not only due to the terrible way Google handles the communication. Phil, GraceFromGoogle, People handling Stadia Twitter account...nobody is exempted from causing it, thus leading to false expectations.

But let's put the communication mess aside. What really worries me is the fact that Stadia's team don't seem really to be listening to our feedback, they rather just pay attention to the noise we generate to calm us down with pre-defined ad polite but vague sentences.

Again, from the top of my head, there are at least 2 very basic features that we could have on Stadia android app within 1 hour if Google wanted to.

It honestly piss me off that I can play on my Android phone to other Stadia cloud competitors (which beta service is still free) but I can't with Stadia despite it's an app from the same company who owns Android.

I find it completely stupid to be able to see my Stadia screenshots on the phone, but I can't share them when I know it takes less than 1 hour to implement a share button! I can't get my head around Google having so many messaging apps but not enabling a messaging feature in Stadia so we can chat with our Stadia friends.

Those type of thinks make me think? Does Google really listen for feedback?

I can't avoid to make a direct comparison between Stadia communication quality & how keen they are to improve vs. how MS communicates with their Xbox Xcloud insiders &the way they actively ask for feedback. It's day and night difference

In my experiences, Stadia has been phenomenal with listening to feedback. For example, when they announced what the second round of Pro games were, the also said they would refund anyone that bought the Tomb Raider game. They are listening, even if they aren't addressing all of your concerns at this moment at least in my opinion.

We are the EARLY access phase users I think they are going to use all our feedback and internally are prioritizing the top ones and knocking it off the list, I know they are listening they have too soooo here is my thoughts on the game part (feedback wise)

Here is what google is probably planning on doing right now there is barely any games, the draw for publishers is probably not that big to invest the time to put their games on STADIA. Of course they could always pull an EPIC but EPIC is wildely hated for that and Stadia doesn't need anymore negative news.

So what I think google is planning is once it becomes FREE for all they will use this to bolster their numbers, "STADIA has 30 million users" or some sort of insane amount. So someone can TRY it once and never again, that doesn't matter because they subscribe/signed up to be a member of stadia.

I feel that is what they are going to use to draw in more 3rd party developers.

What I think STADIA should actually do is build first party games - get a fantastic japanese studio, a poland studio..just go absolutely bananas.

They need their own God of war/Breath of the wild/Forza/Flight simulator/simulation games (rim world)...take risk on games we don't normally see on consoles

they need to pull a MICROSOFT when no one trusted them and everyone thought they were a joke ...MS brought PC gaming to the console.

Also to your point @Felix I agree I want to see Phil Harrison more because right now  Grace is the face of STADIA, lol.
