This is great! So long Stadia!
Thank You for adding the bluetooth for us ex-stadia gamers. Controller is a solid 1 and did not want it to go to e-waste. Cant wait for the bluetooth tool! Thanks again for making this right.
Thank you!
Thank you, thank you, thank you... I really wanted this to work out, but alas it wasn't meant to be. Many an hour spent enjoying and playing. Thank you for cyberpunk, thank you for Baldurs Gate 3 even if I never got to play the full game
. Stay classy Google. ![]()
Thanks for everything. You proved everyone wrong that said you couldn't do it. Those same people wrote everyday for 3 years about how stadia would shut down soon. They unfortunately made people believe Stadia was dead the day it launched.
I hate those critics, most of them admitted they had never even tried your service but supposedly knew everything about it.
People were misinformed from the start and when everyone believes the lies being written it can doom any company.
I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all your hard work. I'm 65 and really loved to just be able to turn my TV on and kick back and play anytime. without worrying whether this might be the last time my old console might start up or if I would have to wait 30 minutes on an update to download and install.
My grandkids went straight to the Stadia controllers when they came over bypassing the PlayStation, Xbox and switch to play games they hadn't played anywhere else.
Anyway thanks for everything and thanks for the final game and use of the controller, even though you gave my money back for all 3, on Bluetooth devices.
I paid every month for the service and I just wish people would have given the love to Stadia that fan boys do with other game companies.
Very sorry to see you guys go. I'll just have to wait and see if any similar service worth paying for in the future. (Not the laggy ones out there right now). Until then I'll just have to get used to not being able to just pick up a controller and play.
Thanks again for everything.
Oh yeah, one more thing. Please bring back the service. This time with a ton of games on launch and tell people what they want to hear, how well it works etc. Maybe it would be viable in that context. Or maybe you should put out a gaming PC and call it a console, then start the streaming service back up. Seems like people who go out and buy a console for 500 bucks are more likely to enjoy streaming games than the people who could make good use of it by not having to buy a system.
I don't get it, other than being a status symbol. My console is better than yours. Lol.
I watched people trying to get the latest game console for a couple of years. The whole time they were complaining about not being able to buy the latest and greatest I was sitting on my couch playing the latest and greatest for $10 a month. Less than the other guys charged for membership and I didn't need anything but a controller and the Chromecast I already owned.
Just a shame.
It sucks to see stadia go. But I had an awesome time playing it for sure. Thank you, stadia team.
Thanks. Much appreciated. Will miss Stafia.
Thank you guys for everything y'all have done and provided during the times I've played on stadias servers! I enjoyed the services especially because your servers where more faster and responsive On the phone, computer, and TV unlike Xcloud they honestly may need your help with the server speed and reliability because even with good internet speed still delays badly and lags behind. Y'all are the only service that figured out the issue with cloud gaming and made it possible even on 5G on my phone still was running 1080P with no issue. Love the service forever!
Thank you for all Stadia did for my entertainment and to make work from home easier during the pandemic. Definitely will be missed
This is awesome! I love my Stadia controller and have been using it for PC playing for a while now. I wasn't able to benefit from Stadia originally due to my poor internet bandwidth. I'm glad the excellent controller will continue to live on!
Stadia may not have reached the height of user base we would have all wished for but it's impact will be felt for a long time. It will be spoken of fondly to those of us who experience it. Thank you to those who spent countless hours building this technical marvel. It may have been the first cloud console, but soon it will rest among the stars.
Thanks for the memories, Stadia was and is superior to all other cloud services. It's a shame to see this go
Thank you stadia I just got it last year in February or so I enjoyed it as I don't have time but my young kids liked it did not need a console the games were perfect as they are young all I say is great job as I remember the press conference on stadia and I thought that is the coolest thing ever I have tears in my eyes as I write this thank you for the eater egg and the ability to turn on Bluetooth. Thanks again stadia team you will be missed
Thanks Stadia team for all the hard work ya put in! I got to enjoy playing Cyberpunk and Doom Eternal without having to buy a console or get a gaming PC! Farewell!
It's a shame to see Stadia go. You guys on the Stadia team did an amazing job. Unlocking the controller should have been done so long ago, but alas, it's come as a goodbye gift. It's a shame Google has killed yet another project. I told my son when Stadia started I wouldn't sign up because I had zero confidence that Google would keep it going, but he talked me into it lol. I have to admit it was fun, while it lasted. If only Google invested all the money they refunded into Stadia, maybe it would have had a chance...
many thanks for unlocking the bluetooth controller functionalituy ! hugely appreciated !
God Bless !
Thanks for releasing the Controller Bluetooth Option. I really like the Controller, it is one of the best controllers in my opinion, and i use it regulary.
Big thanks to the Stadia team for these final gifts and for the incredible development on this pioneering platform. Stadia will be sorely missed.
Can I use bluetooth enabled Sradia Controller with Geforce Now Cloud Gaming Services running on LG Smart TV model year 2021?
I really appreciate the unlocking of the controllers. It's been my favorite controller for a while now and I'm thrilled I'll be able to continue using it.
I was wondering where that game came from! Thank you for deciding to unlock the controllers. My son and I will miss Stadia. We’ve made some awesome memories playing together on it.
You'll share details about this after the forums go into lockdown mode? That's pretty sus. Why do I get the feeling this self serve tool isn't going to be the solution you are proposing it will be.
Amazing
Thanks so much for enabling Bluetooth. Loved Stadia, Judgements was my favorite game on the platform, Destiny 2 just behind it. The controller is basically perfect and not having to be tethered to anything to use it is a dream come true. Sad it come to an end, but the end we got couldn't have been any better.
Looking forward to Stadia 2.0!
Ah, we nearly changed the world, but the world just wasn't ready to be changed!
Lots of love to the team and my fellow Stadians. Happy times indeed.
Awesome stuff. Looking forward to being able to use my Stadia controllers. "So long, and thanks for all the fish"![]()
Great news on the controller as its a joy to use and was gutted it was gonna end up in a drawer instead of being used all the time like it should be!
Thank you very much for awesome moments with stadia, a great community and a breath taking technology.
It’s sad, I will miss Stadia and hope that at some point Google will enter the games market again.
So thanks to the Stadia Team for doing a great job.
Cheers
Marc
Thank you so much for all the hard work and the amazing platform you guys provided! It's honestly sad that Stadia has to go this way, but at least opening the Stadia controller to Bluetooth will allow it live on and maintain the legacy of Stadia.
On a different note, I have to give kudos to the designers of the controller, it's been amazing playing with it, because it's honestly so much more comfortable to use compared to the controllers of other platforms! Hats off to you guys
