All my Stadia games look really blurry even though I have a Pro membership. In order to even get anything near what it should be, I have to use Stadia+ and mess with my Chrome browser display settings using Control Shift and I.
Just like how Pro members have a little icon in the connection menu showing that they are in 4K mode, I think it would be great if there was also a little icon showing that we’re in 2k mode for those of us who have a 2k monitor.
And the browser should immediately recognize that you’re using a 2k monitor and display the game in 2k mode if you have a pro membership and have high resolution (2k or 4K) activated in your Stadia settings.
This would greatly improve my Stadia experience. Thank you.
One thing you do right now is to install a unofficial plugin Stadia Enhanced to force VP9 and 4k, which looks better on a 1440p screen.
+1 this idea. I think most entusiast PC gamers these days have 1440p monitors, so having support for this, as well as an indication that you are indeed running in 1440p mode, would be awesome. Xbox have been supporting this resolution for a very long time.
