2 hour limit on refunds

Do you guys feel like 2 hours is enough time to get a feel of a game (like outriders)? Or even enough time to potentially see differences from previous versions (like any sports game)? I personally feel like stadia should increase that time, how do you guys feel?

@JFlolv333 I think it's fine. Steam actually have the exact same policy

Irs even worse since sometimes Steam counts the time you're installing/downloading the game as playtime. At least with Stadia you can directly jump in

Agree here with Ivan,

I think having a policy about games to be played within 2 hours (and within 14 days) does make sense to me. 2 hours is usually enough to get a good idea about the game and if you like it on Stadia (or on Steam or elsewhere) or not.

It depends on the game, action and sports games usually give you an immediate sense of the game so even half-hour would be sufficient to appreciate the game mechanics and gameplay, however for some story-driven games like RPGs two hours may seem too short, however, I think it is a fair enough timespan to decide if you want to keep the game or if you don't like it for most of the games!

I think it's a good amount of time for someone to decide whether they enjoy it or not but I still think there could be improvements. Not all games are created equal and some games really start off slow before things get more interesting.

It would be nice for the storefronts to adjust the time frame based off how the game plays out. A game of pacman can easily be assessed in a shorter time period than something like Assassin's creed Odyssey.

I don't feel like 2 hours is enough to determine if you actually like a game, particularly these days when it can take hours just to get through initial cutscenes/prologue/tutorials but that being said 2 hours is pretty much the industry standard at the moment and it has been that way ever since Steam started offering automatic refunds like this ages ago.
