Can I play local 2 player on one single game, like enter the gungeon, with a friend who lives in another house?
I can play, two player, enter the gungeon, on one instance of Stadia on my account. But how can I play this game, on my account, with someone else who is on another computer/home? Incase that is possible.
Hey SilverOwly! You'll need a copy of the game for each separate PC you want to play multiplayer games on. With Stadia, even though it's digital, it is one "copy" of the game, such as Enter the Gungeon. You can play Enter the Gungeon locally, but in order to have 2 games running at the same time for online multiplayer, your friend will also need a copy of the game. This includes if you use family sharing - since family sharing lets someone else use your "one copy" of the game. Hope this helps!
Thanks, but sometimes it's not possible to multiplayer on 2 different instances of the game. Unless the game support online multiplayer. So that's why I am wondering, and I've heard it is possible, but dont know how, I've seen people stream games and invite friends to stream the game to them from afar and play the same game instance local multiplayer but from long distance, without the other friend owning the game at all.
Can I play 1 game, and two players can connect to that same 1 game, to play local multiplayer on that same 1 game, one instance of one game running, but split streamed so that I can see the same 1 game as my friend, but on a different screen. Not 2 different games. 1 game. 1 instance of 1 game.
Local multiplayer, not online multiplayer. But online is being used to split stream the 1 instance of 1 game running, ofcourse. I've seen people do it, but I personally don't know how, so that's why I am asking.
