Snowtopia

Developer: TeaForTwo

Publisher: Goblinz Publishing, Fractale, Maple Whispering Limited

Release Date: Coming Soon

Welcome to Snowtopia, a world of endless winter fun.

Build the ideal ski resort.gif

Build the ideal ski resort to keep your skiers smiling all the way down the mountain. Get to know every cliff and crevice as you plan pistes, place lifts and build essential facilities. Take on the challenge to create a resort where life is always good!

Features:

  • Plan your pistes – Place pistes on the mountainside in just a few clicks with the easy-to-use creation tool. Read the terrain, and choose the best spot to lay down trails for every skier ability. Plan, build and improve until you’ve created your dream ski area.

  • Welcome skiers of every kind – You might have thought perfect pistes were enough to keep skiers happy, but it’s not so simple. With 12 different skier profiles in the game, some are more interested in a good raclette, while others come to commune with nature. And then there are the hardcore ski fanatics, who won’t settle for anything less than the longest run the mountain has to offer.

Welcome skiers of every kind_3.gif

  • Sit back and chill on the mountain – Once your resort is built and your skiers are happy, you deserve a little break. So find yourself a perfect little corner on the mountain to drink it all in, maybe near a pretty forest piste next to a ski lift perched on a picturesque clifftop.

Welcome to Snowtopia, the game where it’s good to just chill.

Somni.png

Somni

Developer: Antler

Publisher: Antler

Release Date: Coming Soon

Somni is a multiplayer, psychological horror first person shooter where players will need to banish ethereal beings – ghostly entities that are not always visible to the naked eye. To defeat them, you’ll need to find some evidence first before you can face off against these monstrosities.

Features:

  • Switching Your Playstyle – When up against an Ethereal it is best to hide under beds or in closets to avoid being spotted. These types of Entities are confined to a residence and can corner a player if they aren't perceptive enough. Cryptids are always present in their open environments. Hiding behind containers and firing your weapon only when necessary gives you the best chance to survive.

Standing Shadow.gif

  • Unique Perks and Abilities – Use your earnings from banishing the entity to try out the 11 Abilities available to choose from in the Perk Shop. Each Perk is special and useful for different situations and dependent on the opponent you will be up against!

  • Become Fully Immersed – Somni is playable with a Mouse and Keyboard or Gamepad with up to 6 Player Online Co-Op and a Server Browser with Proximity Chat that allows players to connect and share their experience.

Killing Amalgamation.gif

  • Not Only Cryptids – Amalgamations are insect-like clusters of bone that roam mostly around Cryptid Environments. They are as fast as the player and can kill just as fast as the Cryptid itself. Keep them at a safe distance and stay out of their sight.

Atari Recharged - Gravitar keyart_V1 PNG.png

Gravitar: Recharged

Developer: Adamvision Studios, SneakyBox

Publisher: Atari

Release Date: Coming Soon

A lone pilot, far from home, must navigate an abstract universe of uncharted planets and space stations guarded by mysterious, hostile aliens in Gravitar: Recharged. You must complete missions in each solar system, navigating a variety of challenging environments, each with varying levels of gravity that will test your skills as a pilot. Complete each mission within a solar system and you will be transported to the next through a massive black hole. Will you ever make it home?

With Gravitar: Recharged Atari revisits an incredibly ambitious arcade title. The 1982 original took the rotate, thrust and fire mechanics of Asteroids and Space Duel, combined them with the gravity of Lunar Lander, and added exploration and elements of cave flying. The result was an extremely challenging arcade game that was eventually ported to the Atari 2600. The game, which did not achieve broad commercial success, has become a cult classic among Atari enthusiasts.

The visual aesthetic of Gravitar: Recharged takes the Recharged series in a new direction, with expansive environments rendered in painterly style and pastel tones. In the capable hands of industry-veteran composer Megan McDuffee, the original soundtrack complements the art style with soothing, atmospheric tracks that evoke a sense of wonder.

gravitar.jpg

Features:

  • Arcade mode – Fly from planet to planet and progress through ever-more-challenging solar systems in a quest to get home.
  • Missions – 24 taxing challenges with global leaderboards.
  • Power-Ups – Pick-up power-ups with your tractor beam, including homing missiles and EMP disruptors

gravitar_2.jpg

  • Co-op – Play with a partner in each game mode, which connects two players on a tether, requiring a significant level of coordination.
  • Get in the Groove – Megan McDuffee continues to deliver with an ambient score that transports you into the depths of the unknown.

VERY excited for SOMNI!!  I hadn't heard of it until a couple of weeks ago - a YouTuber named Insym who plays a lot of horror games talked about it.  I love Phasmophobia and Forewarned, so I'm super excited now to see this coming to Stadia.  I really hope it will have or get cross-play with PC, too!

I think that if they put all this news on the scheduled blogs that people expect every 2 weeks, we would all be much happier =D.

I'm really looking forward to Slaycation Paradise (I tried the demo version elsewhere) but soon I'll be a bit satisfied with From Space.

Love all of these Atari games. Spent a decent amount of time playing through Yars with my wife to beat all the levels.

Slaycation looks like a lot of fun too, zombie killing and tower defence that's a winning combination!!

Whilst I appreciate these new original games coming to the platform, Stadia also needs to bring some more mainstream triple AAA games so that it becomes more all rounded. So Google please put your short arms in your long pockets and please us gamers with some nice surprises before the end of 2022!

THANK YOU so much to the Stadia team for these games!

Remember folks - if you cannot say anything nice DO NOT HIT comment

Also, thank you to Team Stadia for not bringing Madden 23 to the service.  We do not need any broken games on the service!

What happened to Assassin's Creed Mirage? Where are the fixes for broken games? Yes, it's up to the devs, but since Stadia is still infantile I think it's need it's parent (google) to support it!
