Stadia Blog Post_NIS America Games Announce March 25.png

If you love JRPGs, you’ll be stoked to hear that these fan favorites are coming to Stadia. Packed with incredible lore, expansive worldbuilding, and addicting gameplay, the possibilities are limitless in immersing yourself in these games with the flexibility of Stadia.

Whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer to either series, you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience. Love real-time combat? An epic story awaits you in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA (available April 1, $39.99) and Ys IX: Monstrum Nox (available Summer 2021, $59.99), which are two separate journeys from renowned adventurer Adol “The Red” Christin. More of a turn-based combat gamer?  Head to Zemuria and give The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III (available April 1, $59.99) and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV (available April 9, $59.99) a try. Both of these Trails of Cold Steel titles contain an extensive in-game library with comprehensive summaries of previous installments and key terms to keep you up to speed with the plot to date.  Of course with both series, you’ll get the rewarding exploration and relationship building elements you’d expect from developer Nihon Falcom.

See below for more details on each game and what to expect before they arrive on the Stadia store!

  • Pursuits of the War Weary: In between epic battles, catch a breather with a number of mini-games including returning favorites like Vantage Master, and fishing and puzzle games, as well as all-new pursuits like Poker, Blackjack, and the Horror Coaster.

I absolutely love JRPGs. I hope to see some Final Fantasy titles in here, as well as Persona, Breath of Fire and Disgaea series, etc. Keep it coming! This has been a good month so far for Stadia! I might consider subbing back if we continue with this good wave of solid titles :slightly_smiling_face:

I promise this is a question, not a criticism... Why are we paying $60 for a two-year old game in Monstrum Nox? Honestly, I swear I just want to know. I love everything about my Stadia!

Keep the Japanese games coming, please! I'de love to see older FF and DQ titles coming to Stadia too! I would be amazing if new titles like FF7 Remake or even FFXVI made it to Stadia in the future.

@cphillips818It's the same price as the other platforms. Aside from PS4, the game is brand new on PC, Switch and Stadia. And also, that's on the publisher's side.

Speaking of RPGs, is there any chance at all that you can give Bioware a massive sack of cash in exchange for them bringing Mass Effect: Legendary to Stadia? Thanks.

@bero1332 I will use the food analogy and say what some of us might think is plain or not to our taste can be someone’s favourite dish and even a super nutritional meal :slightly_smiling_face: the important thing is to have variety available for all tastes!
